Expect last night's Republican survivors to abandon Trump over the next two years (if not two months) The national failure of the party last night will be seen as largely a result of his policies. Tariffs/Iran war/cost of living. There's no upside to being loyal to what the nation sees as a failed past. Trump will become islolated. viewed as toxic.
