“Let my people vote.” Those words carry a history of courageous, nonviolent struggle for a voice in the decisions that shape our lives. We honor that struggle by participating and protecting access for others. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. If you haven’t voted, confirm your polling location and hours, review your ballot and make your plan. I’m asking you to help someone else participate, too. Offer a ride, share accurate voting information or check on a neighbor who needs support. Our democracy needs our voices, our votes and our continued work to ensure every eligible voter can be heard. #VotingRights #ElectionDay #Vote

Just last month, DoorDash couldn’t seem to find the money to pay their deliveristas — until our administration forced them to give back $131M+ in stolen wages and penalties. This week, they’ve managed to find $17 billion to acquire one of their main competitors. Corporate consolidation means higher prices, harsher exploitation, and greater economic inequality for New Yorkers. We’ve stood up to these giants before. That doesn’t stop now.

I did not do the Jeffrey Epstein investigation alone. I had the support of @MiamiHerald —it’s then executive editor, Mindy Marques; and these two incredible journalists, investigations editor Casey Frank and visual journalist Emily Michot. Thank you to all the courageous victims who shared their stories with me, and to those on the Pulitzer Board who made this honor of a lifetime happen. #pulitzerprizes

NEW: Pope Leo XIV is set to become the first sitting pontiff in the Catholic Church’s two-thousand-year history to vote in a secular election. Leo requested an Illinois mail ballot on Oct. 3, and it was sent to his brother John’s home in New Lenox, Ill. John Prevost visited the pope at the Vatican on Wednesday and may now be carrying the ballot back to the Will County clerk by hand. thelettersfromleo.com/p/pope…

I voted early, and I’m encouraging you to do the same. Our right to vote was secured through courage, sacrifice and organized action. Let’s honor that work by exercising our right and helping others exercise theirs. Check your early voting location and hours, make your plan and cast your ballot. If you’ve already voted, help someone else get to the polls. #VoteEarly #VotingRights #Vote

Today, we lost a pillar of our community. Voto Latino’s founders honor Dolores Huerta, who “always showed up” and saw the spirit in young people before the world was ready to. Her work is not done. Let’s carry it forward. ¡Sí, se puede, Dolores!

Dolores Huerta was one of the greatest organizers to ever live, using her influence and powerful voice to fight for those who were most vulnerable to exploitation and greed. She will forever be missed, but her spirit lives on in all of us.

I grew up in a world Dolores Huerta helped make. Every time a worker in this city organizes for a fair wage, every time a tenant, delivery worker, or a nanny stands up and demands better, they join a tradition she forged. She led without asking permission. She organized farmworkers when the country looked away, took the grape boycott to every corner of America, and won protections that changed millions of lives. Her work started in California’s fields, but it was never only for California. Families in New York, in Texas, and in the Midwest followed in her footsteps and learned from her example, without ever meeting her. Her bravery and fight for justice continued until the very end of her life, when she came forward to share the truth about what she had survived -- even though silence would have been easier. She taught us that sí se puede and lived it every day. New York mourns Dolores Huerta. Let us honor her by continuing the work.

EJ is one of the best people in our business. Exceptional broadcaster and just a genuine, kind person. This is understandably heartbreaking for many fans, but wishing Ernie the best in his next chapter. He’s more than earned it.
It’s time. 🤟🤟🏾🤟🏻🤟🏽

Actually it was the Wayans that forced the NFL’s hand to change the halftime show. The NFL used to phone the halftime shows in with groups like “Up With People” so K Wayans did In Living Color counter programming same time as halftime & beat ratings. NFL booked MJ that next year
I mean it was Michael Jackson who turned it into a live spectacle. He set the standard that other artists who came after him are trying to achieve.

Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.
