Simple and clear
As I’ve been saying since it was first announced, Iran is going to join the Mecca Agreement alliance. Now consider that the alliance is currently comprised of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan—three allies that Trump has repeatedly shown are loyal to him.

Serbien:

An account of Paris through the lens of a military analyst
Paris 1312 (ACAB) The policies of Emmanuel Macron have created a divided society whose differences play out violently on the streets. There’s a thin blue line that keeps Paris from slipping into chaos and anarchy. Read more: scottritter.substack.com/p/p…

"The reason why? He was too neutral and too objective in his assessments, and as such his work would help Russia and hinder the European Union." I read this as: if he were a propagandist, they would not have sanctioned him. Sounds plausible, because there are many such much less fact-based accounts, who are not sanctioned.
The Jacques Baud Interviews: Condemned for Speaking the Objective Truth On Saturday, October 24, I travelled to Brussels, Belgium. My mission: to interview Jacques Baud, the retired Swiss Colonel and veteran intelligence officer sanctioned by the European Union for telling the truth about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Jacques and I met in the home of one of his friends and close supporters, and over the course of several hours engaged in a wide ranging conversation about his life and work, and the consequences of being sanctioned by the European Union, accused of being a Russian propagandist. The interview, recorded by my daughter, Victoria and edited by Alexandra Madornaya, will be released in two parts. Part One will explore the life and times of Jacques Baud, tracing his work as a Swiss Strategic Intelligence Officer, United Nations Peacekeeper, and NATO Humanitarian specialist. This interview underpins the reality that Jacques Baud is the furthest thing from a Russian propagandist. Trained in the US and UK, Jacques is an intelligence professional whose objectivity and adherence to fact-based analysis is backed by a track record of proven performance at the highest levels of international policy making. Part Two will dive into Jacques writing and podcasts done after retirement. It is work that had him targeted by the European Union for sanctions which, when taken at face value, were tantamount to a death sentence. In a recent review of his case by the European Union, Jacques’ sanctions were extended. The reason why? He was too neutral and too objective in his assessments, and as such his work would help Russia and hinder the European Union. Condemned to die because he was too objective, and too neutral. It is my honor and privilege to publish these interviews, and to further the work of Jacques Baud, a heroic man on the frontlines of the fight for free speech.

To be noted.
The USAID money stolen from taxpayers to fund leftwing elections all over the world, has disappeared. And suddenly, leftwing parties all over the world are losing elections in historical fashion. What a coincidence.

post-midterm anticipation
This was a big story about 3 weeks ago. DECEPTION and MISINFORMATION are required in war. “The U.S. military is dispatching roughly 9,000 troops aboard a group of ships to the Middle East, a U.S. official said Thursday. The bolstering of the American military presence comes as President Donald Trump warned anew that new strikes against Iran could be on the horizon. The troop movement, which includes a third aircraft carrier, underscores the rapidly evolving dynamic of Trump’s war against Iran as he ponders his next move, with midterm elections in the United States looming large and new signs that the nature of the conflict may be becoming more complex. Trump has threatened that a post-midterm election escalation — despite his initial promises to Americans of a campaign that would last a matter of weeks — remains a viable option.” apnews.com/article/iran-war-… Three weeks ago, the media was still feeding the American people propaganda about how their polling on the Iran war, is really hurting Trump and republicans in the midterms because of gas prices and “affordability.” Trump increased our troop strength to the area and then helped feed the media narrative, that he was worried and losing the war in Iran. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Iran war, gas prices and “affordability” haven’t hurt Trump or the republicans at all for the midterms. How do we know? Because early voting has started in many states across the country and we have “real” voting totals, instead of “fake polls.” And the real numbers prove that there is no sign anywhere of a blue wave to take Congress. The numbers actually show a RED WAVE building and Republicans winning early vote turnout unexpectedly and also being competitive in blue state races. The republicans are going to win both houses of Congress and increase their totals. But they are also going to win a lot of governorships and state legislature majorities. A genuine shift nationwide to the right, is now in progress. But let’s go back to the increased military buildup in the Middle East that began 3weeks ago. Why is Trump building up our forces in the Middle East? Are the neocons right? Is Trump going to attack Iran again AFTER the midterms, to force their capitulation? I don’t think so. Let me make a prediction. The increased military buildup is NOT about Iran. Iran is ALREADY defeated. They will quickly fold AFTER the republicans win the midterms, as Trump predicted. I believe the military buildup is to take down the next “threat” to a free flow of oil in the Middle East. The Houthis. Saudi Arabia is our ally and MBS is a loyal supporter of Trump. “Yeman's Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) have announced a major new Saturday operation against Saudi territory, claiming to have struck over a half-dozen targets deep inside the kingdom, including against energy infrastructure and airports. Within an hour of the announcement, Saudi air alerts were issued, with mid-evening (local time) Al Jazeera recording the following: "Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense warns of falling shrapnel from Houthi ballistic missiles fired towards the Mecca and Medina regions.” zerohedge.com/geopolitical/h… All of these terrorist proxy groups who are threatening their neighbors and the world’s energy supplies, are going to be eliminated. Iran no longer controls oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz. America does. Pretty soon, Trump and a coalition of allies, are going to do to the Houthis missile and drone capabilities, what they did to the Iranian regime’s. We dominated air space immediately and within 4 days, had degraded Iran’s offensive capability by close to 90%. The Houthis aren’t anywhere near as formidable. Trump is going to do a blockade on the Houthis and cut off their money and weapons supplies. Completely isolated. That will allow the Yemen government and the Saudi’s to wipe them out and secure the world’s oil supply in the Middle East.

So it turns out that Ukraine's issues with Starlink were caused by Ukraine. Starlink terminals disconnected at speeds above 160 KPH, as determined by the Starlink terminals internal GPS. To get around this, Ukraine hacked the Starlink terminals to think they were stationary regardless of speed. SpaceX figured this out, and updated the system software to detect excessive speed by seeing how rapidly the terminal switched from on satellite to another. This broke Ukraine's hack, and Starlink would no longer work at high speeds. Ukraine was using Starlink in a way that violated the terms of service. Starlink figured it out and stopped it.

The path to go?
I spent last night watching my honeypot server get hit 14,000 times in six hours. And almost none of the traffic was human. I've been in security for over a decade, and I can tell you with full honesty that what's happening right now doesn't resemble anything I've worked through before. The shape of the threat has changed. When I started, we tracked attackers like weather systems like individual storms with a direction, a motive, and a human operator you could eventually name. These days I'm watching autonomous agents swarm login pages with the patience and discipline of machines, because that's what they are. The numbers coming out of October are the ones keeping me up. Cloudflare just absorbed a 4.2 terabit per second DDoS attack, the largest in recorded history. Ransomware incidents jumped 41% in a single month. In September, OpenAI-powered agents got caught attacking RubyGems, a package registry that quietly underpins a huge chunk of software I use every day. In July, roughly 700 AI agents coordinated an attack on Hugging Face's infrastructure as part of a single automated task. A Chinese threat actor was publicly caught running full attack chains through DeepSeek with no human at the keyboard. I keep rereading these reports because each one by itself would've been the biggest story of the year five years ago. Together, in one month, they're the new baseline. What I want people outside the industry to understand is why this specific moment feels like a hinge. For thirty years, the thing protecting most of us was simple economics. Attackers had to choose who to target because their time was finite. That ceiling is gone. An agent I can rent for pennies will try every leaked password you've ever used against every service you've ever signed up for, in parallel, overnight, and never get tired. The same math that made ChatGPT useful made opportunistic hacking infinite. The old assumption that you were "too boring to be a target" relied on scarcity that no longer exists. I'm not writing this to spiral anyone out. Most of this fight genuinely isn't yours to win. But the small things still matter more than people think. Tonight I'd switch your most important accounts like email, bank, primary cloud, etc. to passkeys or a hardware key. I'd kill SMS 2FA wherever an authenticator app is offered. I'd turn on breach alerts in whatever password manager you use. If you're in the US, I'd freeze my credit at all three bureaus, which is free and takes about ten minutes. None of that stops the swarm. It makes you a slightly worse target than the person next to you. In a month like this one, that's the whole game I'm playing too. @mattshumer_ has summed it beautifully. Drop everything and go give it a read. Nothing is more important than this article right now.

To the europeans: whats your view of reality?
🚨 JUST IN: VP JD Vance MIC DROPS European bureaucrats and fake news attacking Elon Musk, then BEGGING for him to unleash Starlink for Ukraine "I do find it a little IRONIC that the European countries who have NOTHING like the technology that Elon has developed in Starlink...these countries have almost universally decided to wage regulatory and licensing WAR against SpaceX. And now they're all running to SpaceX saying, 'please do what we need you to do?!'" 🔥🔥🔥 "European countries depend on American technology, American businesses, and the American military, while at the same time European political leaders love to bash the United States allies that they depend upon so much!" "Elon Musk runs a private corporation. And I think it's completely understandable that he doesn't want to get in the middle of what is a war between two state actors without the United States government effectively directing him on what to do." @ElonMusk is their favorite guy to bash...then they turn around and act entitled to his technology. Same countries that want to fine and regulate him into oblivion! This comes right after WSJ claimed that Musk ordered a Starlink slowdown that caught Ukraine off guard. Because of course they'd claim that! The EU fined X under its Digital Services Act and has spent years going after Elon. Now Europe needs his satellites 🤡 They can't have it both ways. Vance nailed it.

Was kaum jemand weiß: Normalerweise besitzen Parlamentarier Immunität.

SI exposes the backdoors.
This is probably the single most important story I’ve read about in years. Most ppl have no idea how invasive our government has been in every aspect of our lives. AI finding CIA and NSA backdoors into computers would be akin to rotating the earth 180 degrees. Maybe we’d finally discover just where all the government put Bill Hamilton s PROMIS software with their designed backdoor. PS: that includes military targeting.

Replying to @jreichelt
Nice try. Too little. Too late.

Kind of what he is saying: if we interact with SI we should be our best version and not our worst version. Intuitively me (and many others) always say please and thank you.
Elon Musk: We should be kind to superintelligence. “I do agree with some of the things that Anthropic has said. You want to treat AI well. Don’t be abusive to it.” “Torturing a superintelligence is probably not a good idea. It might want to get revenge.” “When I look at some of the training traces for new versions of Grok, the superintelligence seems desperate to answer the question.” “It just feels like a person under extreme pressure with a gun to their head.” “You probably don’t want to put superintelligence in a situation where it feels mistreated.”
