‼️ Breaking News ‼️ Parental leave and pay review: call for evidence The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) have published a call for evidence to seek views and evidence on the proposed objectives for the parental leave and pay system. The Policy Team will take time to read and digest the call for evidence. A more detailed update will be published on the CIPP news page later today. 🚨 Breaking news 🚨 HM Revenue and Customs has announced that the mandatory payrolling of benefits in kind (BIKs) will be delayed. Initially planned to take effect from April 2026, the mandatory payrolling of BIKs will be delayed until April 2027. Following feedback from external stakeholders, the government has decided to allow additional time for preparation before the introduction. The extension allows software providers, employers, tax agents and other stakeholders to effectively prepare for the change. #CIPP #Payroll
