It's been a privilege to lead this project for @CLRNNetwork and to work with so many expert contributors. The report looks at problems with the UK's frameworks for extradition, mutual legal assistance and criminal jurisdiction and outlines the need for a reform.
The @CLRNNetwork scoping review into the need for reform of the law relating to International Cooperation and Extradition was published today. Read more about the report on our website: lawcom.gov.uk/news/criminal-… and on the CLRNN website: clrnn.co.uk/news/

We very much welcome this review, and look forward to contributing. The Criminal Law Reform Now Network's report on Private Prosecutions is due for publication early in 2025. clrnn.co.uk
Our justice system's integrity depends on fair, transparent prosecutions brought in the public interest. But long-standing public concern exists about regulation of non-police & private prosecutors. An upcoming consultation will review the regulation governing these prosecutors.

It’s e-publication day for my book 🎉 I am due to speak about it in a few places over the coming months: three talks in Scotland over winter, a springtime event in London, and an online event for the @ASLHtweets in December. I’ll try to post details on here 🤓
