It’s true. Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z are the ones who’ve been running the government these last 15 years or so and engaging in profligate spending. Last 4 presidents all famously from these generations.

This is crazy talk. 11 years ago the National Debt was less than half what it is now. Gens X, Z and Millennial have borrowed more in the last 11 years than the Boomers did in the previous 60 years. Who’s not paying their way? They aren’t.

Apparently, it's weird to not save childhood phone numbers in your contacts? I still know my brothers, parents, and old friends by heart and treat it like it’s 1997. Am I the only one who still does this?

Except - at the end of the day the W-2 had more money net of taxes. The business owner was able to deduct all of those things because he PAID for them. The tech employee has all of them paid for by the company and his expenses were significantly less. This myth is overplayed.
Owning a small business is the best tax deal in America. And it's not even close. Two clients. Both made $1M last year. Client A: W-2 employee at a tech company. Client B: Owns a consulting firm. Client A's tax bill: $317K. Client B's tax bill: $180K. Same income. $137K difference. "What's Client B doing?" S-Corp election. QBI deduction. Solo 401k. Home office. Business travel. Health insurance deduction. Client A gets... the standard deduction.

This should just say: Would you like to pay an extra $3.99 or have your food totally suck?

Why is it so difficult to find a pair of freaking shorts that go below your knee? This mid-thigh shit has to go.

Chat GPT is enabling the writing of longer emails in a world when people were already not reading their emails It is so obviously when people are using AI to write their emails - I personally like it, but do wonder if all customers feel that way

California's housing crisis wasn't an accident. It was engineered. A primary architect of today's sky-high housing costs is a 1978 law that has warped our market for decades: Proposition 13. Let's look at how it directly fuels unaffordability. 🧵 #Prop13 #HousingCrisis

The damage extends for generations. By making it nearly impossible for young people and new residents to buy, #Prop13 has entrenched intergenerational wealth and slammed the door on those who weren't already on the property ladder decades ago. It's a key driver of CA's inequality

For over 40 years, Prop 13 has subsidized one group at the direct expense of another, broken the supply-and-demand cycle, and inflated a catastrophic housing bubble. The question isn't if it has hurt California's housing market, but how much longer we can tolerate the damage.

Brokers out there - this is also the same when any client includes you on an email to their attorney or asks you a question, it breaks privilege If a legal conversation is getting hairy, it’s in the best interest of your client to remove yourself from that conversation
Sam Altman just confirmed what lawyers have been saying for over a year: There’s no legal privilege when you use ChatGPT. So if you’re pasting in contracts, asking legal questions, or asking it for strategy, you’re not getting legal advice. You’re generating discoverable evidence. No attorney-client privilege. No confidentiality. No ethical duty. No one to protect you. It might feel private, safe, and convenient. But lawyers are bound to protect you. ChatGPT isn’t—and can be used against you.

Someone should tell these 25 year olds that the Jeremy Miner thing only works if the person you are talking to doesn’t know you…

There will be hell to pay when half the brokers in California can’t renew their licenses because DRE won’t accept their AMEX platinum cards for payment
