Now this is very interesting, and I don't think at all obvious. Reading challenging texts aloud, and at a fast pace, improved the reading comprehension of all students, but for the lowest achievers, the gains were almost twice as great: bit.ly/2XUMfp0.

Last night during parents evening we re-consulted with parents over PEF and shared some of our PEF initiatives. We had the wonderful @KirkcaldyHigh World of Work ambassadors demonstrating the WOW website. The JLT also asked parent opinion of the school improvement plan! @CTGFife
