That's the fundamental problem. We don't have to imagine it. $500 million would fund Medicare and Medicaid for 2.19 hours.
Imagine if Elon's $500 million had been spent on education or healthcare. Or the arts. Anything.

Let's consider the irony here just for a second... The straight-out-of-central-casting Mormon rookie kid bats .421 w 1 HR and 7 RBIs and is the clutch player in the first ever World Series Championship for the Milwaukee BREWERS.... Congratulations Cooper Pratt!

I can second this. This is just not true. Plus we are all on the same team and love the Cougars who are crushing it in every sport. Let’s rally behind ALL of them!
I know for a fact these numbers are wrong. They’re mathematically impossible. I personally know two donors whose contributions alone would put us at double the reported spend. And that doesn’t even include the likely 20–30 others who contribute big dollars each year. Whoever told you this either lied or is spreading a false, negative narrative. Our athletics have never been in a better spot. Why is someone pushing this message right now? 🤔 It takes a village and everyone has the same goal. Let’s all push in the same direction together! Go Cougs! 💙💙💙

Remember when Kalani was frustrated about resources? Word on the street is that Kalani had verbal commitments from 2 Ohio State receivers and a Tennessee lineman. But when they went to check the funds, Brian Santiago had moved $8 million from football to basketball without informing the program. As a result, they weren't able to pay the recruits what they thought they could and lost them. During the last transfer portal, Ohio St lost six wide receivers including 4 and 5⭐ recruits, and Tennessee lost six OLinemen. It's very likely that, without Brian Santiago, those players would have been playing for BYU this year.

A bon entendeur.

Nothing better than beating Notre Dame🙌🏻Thanks @ryanjsweeney @bsant25_
About to land in Utah for the thousandth time, but this one hits a bit different because I'm here to watch Notre Dame play. 🏈✈️ Huge credit to BYU AD Brian Santiago and ND AD Pete Bevacqua. They took a simple intro last winter and turned it into a top 10 matchup, College GameDay, and prime time on ABC this Saturday.👏🏻 Honestly a full circle moment for a Catholic kid from Jersey who grew up dreaming about college in South Bend. And after 15+ years of coming out to Utah, getting to know the sports fans, and learning about BYU, I’ve always felt the two schools share the similar values and spirit. All that said… Irish by 100 #LeaveNoDoubt ☘️ (And Go Jazz + Mammoth!)

I have never been more embarrassed to be a BYU fan as I have been reading the ugly and hurtful comments directed to @bsant25_. Is this how fans of the school sponsored by @Ch_JesusChrist really fan? Even if all the facts were known instead of these crazy ASSumptions, does anyone deserve to be treated like this by a followers of Christ. Do better people.
