Eric Bauza posted this the day the Skydance merger closed. It seemed to be his subtle way of reminding us that no matter whose name is on the logo, the creative legacy of Warner Bros. will not die.
It’s thanks to people like him that it hasn’t.
The DCU so far:
- Creature Commandos - Great
- Superman - Amazing
- Peacemaker Season 2 - Almost Great
- Supergirl - Good
- Lanterns - Good
- Clayface - Great
Is it the perfect DC cinematic universe we all needed? Tbh, no. But than again, so isn’t the MCU.
The DCU so far:
- Creature Commandos - Great
- Superman - Generationally Great!
- Peacemaker Season 2 - Aight
- Supergirl - Good/Over Hated
- Lanterns - Great
- Clayface - Great
- The Suicide Squad - Good/It Aged well!
I mean seriously, if you’d have told me in 2022 this is where’d we been, while we’re waiting on Man of Tomorrow, Bane Deathstroke and potentially Swamp Thing… I don’t think anyone who’s ever read a DC Comic would complain.

Phil Lord teases the animation of ‘SPIDER-MAN: BEYOND THE SPIDER-VERSE’:
“The particular looks that we’re doing are really, really unique & they don’t follow rules of three-dimensional animation. They’re much more in a 2D multiplane kind of style.
The camera work pipeline is completely new & a lot more akin to a live-action pipeline. So it’s a lot more handheld. There’s live-action operators that are part of it, like shooting things virtually. The camera work is outstanding.”

‘THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL’ has returned with a new Christmas commercial for Walmart.
Starring Walton Goggins as Ebenezer Scrooge.
I’d always knew this was gonna be an better movie anyway, but the idea of an body horror film about Clayface making more money than a spin-off to one of the biggest hits of last year starring one of the most famous super-heroines is still really nuts😭
Don’t get me wrong, this movie is still pretty funny, but y’all really overlook the emotional aspect of it all. Genndy Tartakovsky is more than just a good cartoon creator, he’s a great storyteller too.
This scene alone is easily one of the film’s best parts
