BMW E34 540i LE: Australia’s rare V8 special. 🇦🇺
Not every special E34 wore an M5 badge.
In Australia, BMW introduced the E34 540i LE (Limited Edition), with just 70 examples produced.
Based on the V8-powered 540i, the LE received a collection of M-inspired upgrades that made it a particularly desirable version of the E34.
It featured the 4.0-litre M60 V8, producing 286 PS (282 hp), paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
With its limited production and distinctive specification, the 540i LE remains one of the more interesting Australian-market BMW specials.

Remove frame 3 from that list, you can get one for less than the cost of a 2015 Camry in run and drive condition. Too many units were built after a production run of almost 15yrs & it’s a pre-facelift model for that matter.
The others will appreciate in value, that particular one won’t.

法拉利意大利总部有一套极其严苛的 “VIP 客户筛选与限量版配额制度”：想收到顶级限量超跑的认购邀请函，光有钱根本不够！
总部会翻查你过去买过多少台法拉利、最近几年有没有继续买车、参加过多少次官方活动、有没有长期收藏旗下经典车型。早年推出LaFerrari时，甚至要求客户过去3年内买过法拉利，还得拥有一定数量的车型！
更夸张的是，最新旗舰F80全球限量799台，售价高达360万欧元，公开亮相时就已经全部分配给指定客户！
就算你终于获批花几千万买到了一台限量版，也别以为想怎么折腾就怎么折腾！法拉利为了防止富豪拿到稀缺配额后立刻加价倒卖，部分车型和经销商确实设有 18个月左右的转售限制或优先回购条款（Right of First Refusal）。
2017年《洛杉矶时报》就披露过LaFerrari车主的18个月禁售承诺，2024年美国还真有车主因为私自转卖法拉利，被经销商直接告上法庭！
至于贾斯汀·比伯，当年把法拉利458改成电光蓝、加装夸张宽体，后来又拿去拍卖，一度传出被总部拉黑的消息。
法拉利后来澄清，他仍可以买普通车型，但想拿到最稀缺的限量版优先配额，就没那么容易了！

• August 2026: 3 881 units
• September 2026: 3 769 units
Total overall sales since launch: 15 303 units across all Hilux body styles during this four-month window.
The immediate spike to 4 189 units in July—the Hilux's highest monthly total for the year—indicates a highly positive market response as dealerships began receiving the new generation models.
