This is the intro shot from my highlight tape of the #Sooners win over Tennessee. The clip shows only a glimpse of how great the atmosphere is at Neyland Stadium. Getting to play in football cathedrals like Neyland is one of many reasons why OU joined the SEC.

"I believe in growing where you’re planted." #Sooners DTs coach Todd Bates will get more and more opportunities as his coaching career progresses. But for now, he's content with helping OU's defensive line steadily improve. Story @SoonersOnSI: si.com/college/oklahoma/foot…

It's a hype video, take everything with a grain of salt... but there's A LOT of Kamario Taylor in it.

Quite possibly the worst Division I game I’ve ever watched. And yet I can’t stop watching.

I count FOUR #Sooners offensive linemen on the first availability report leading up to OU-Mississippi State. Fodje and Pierre-Louis have already been ruled out, while Fasusi and Ozaeta are questionable. MSU QB Kamario Taylor and RB Fluff Bothwell are also questionable.

Despite leading the #Sooners in rushing last year, Tory Blaylock has carried the ball only 17 times in 2026. Blaylock's role, however, could expand after he got a season-high seven touches in Oklahoma's loss to Kentucky. Story on Blaylock: si.com/college/oklahoma/foot…

A "die hard" Texas fan who didn't/doesn't attend the University of Texas. Truly shocking development. No one could have seen this coming 😳😳

Chris Del Conte told the Houston Chronicle the Texas fan who flipped off a Gators player was a local college student who attends a school in Florida (but not Florida). He has been identified and permanently banned from DKR. CDC said he doesn't know who authorized a field pass for the young student.

“We have to create more turnovers… That's part of our formula for success each week.” The #Sooners rank 134th out of 138 FBS teams with a minus-8 turnover margin. According to Todd Bates, the defense must do its part to aid OU’s struggling offense: si.com/college/oklahoma/foot…

That’s stupid. Of course the injury can get worse. Something else that can get worse: the quarterback’s health. Also, who’s in charge here? We’re talking about a player’s well-being. Was nobody monitoring the fact he couldn’t move?

OU offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle said he was told that Ryan Fodje’s injury “couldn’t get any worse.” He also said that the staff made the decision to pull him after “some of those things showed up.” #Sooners
