Dil se jo baat nikalti hai asar rakhti hai, Par nahi, taqat e parvaaz magar rakhti hai.( Alama Iqbal )
We are humans and humanity is from us. Let's stay united and stand as One.
The @UN touches our lives every day.
Every year, it provides food & aid to over 150 million people, supplies vaccines to 45% of the world’s children & supports elections in some 50 countries.
The moral of the UN's story is simple: humanity is strongest when we stand as one.
My heartfelt Tributes to all those Humanitarians who laid down their lives in the line of duty and A heartfelt Salute to those who work tirelessly to alleviate suffering and bring hope to those in need.
Last year, at least 390 aid workers - a record high - were killed across the world.
International law is clear: Humanitarians can never be targeted.
This World Humanitarian Day, let's #ActForHumanity & say in one voice: An attack on humanitarians is an attack on humanity.
Gaza is and must remain as an integral part of Palestinian State.
Statehood for Palestinians is a right, not a reward.
How many times we Condemn. Condemnation was done to be valued & atrocities to be stoped but now they became the addict of the word condemn.
Enough is enough,Gaza needs an immediate and permanent Ceasefire. May God awake their Conscience so they put an end to this ongoing War.
Over the weekend in Gaza, we saw yet more mass shootings & killings of people seeking @UN aid – an atrocious & inhumane act which I utterly condemn.
We need an immediate ceasefire, the immediate release of all hostages & unimpeded humanitarian access.
Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow is a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Deeply grieved by the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis @Pontifex . He was a man of peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in eternal peace.
You will be dearly missed.
A beautiful thread on Ibn Battuta, a traveler turned storyteller. 👇👌❤️🌻
O the beloved people of Gaza,We are sorry, We failed you. Humanity failed you. They made your life like hell here but Allah opened the gates of heaven for you there. This world is mortal, the tyrant too has to die.
