2019 lessons:
1. You are your own rescue, no one else.
2. Humans are complex, good & bad.
3. Sesafeleng sa thlola- everything ends.
4. Always choose yourself, choosing sides will leave you with an egg on your face
5. Fight.
7. Refuse to wear shame
8.Could be you
9. Life goes on
People with a strong sense of duty will show up for you. That’s their character. People who love you will show up for you because that’s what love looks like. But this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t constantly be interrogating the reasonableness of your needs and demands.
Life can be incredibly difficult that it literally shocks you into silence. Coming back up for air; to find your voice again to articulate your feelings can seem impossible. Your silence didn’t/won’t save you — We almost lost you in silence, may you heal loudly & gloriously🤍✨

I’ve assessed thousands of scholarship applications/interviews for different organisations over the past decade— all I can say is; just apply beloved, shoot your shot and don’t count yourself out. Perfect is the enemy of good. There’s no typical or model applicant, so Apply!!!

Ps rankings are unfair and shouldn’t be taken seriously but the sad reality is that some parts of the world believe in them and it perpetuates the egoism and inequality…
