Only 8 of them of them. And the not-pictured, but equally ubiquitous, Silver Sky. 😂
Hell yeah. 😎
I have the banner, and it’s hilarious how oversized it is. I get it’s supposed to go in a retail space, but you just know the guy designing it was like ‘f it, I’m blocking out the lighting with this thing’. 😂

Frazier was the guy that made me, as a kid, say that if Ali didn’t have a diamond chin then he would’ve had a very different career. Frazier got in on him constantly, and landed the kind of shit from the side usually gets used as evidence in a disability case.
Such a cool collection; love seeing this. The newspaper ad and the ticket stub are the kind of things where you thank your lucky stars they even survived at all. Stuff like that ends up getting landfilled, and by the time people realize how cool it was, it’s decades gone.

I’m gonna take a wild guess that you couldn’t pass a macroecon night class at a Kentucky community college.
They all look great. I’d grab the lot of them, if they were actually all manufactured. Thing is, I’m convinced they’re just mock-ups, some of them eventually getting made in VERY limited quantities. Sucks, too, because that’s one of the most satisfyingly of-an-era merch catalog ads you’ll see.
It’s actually somewhat common, though, having mock-ups made, photographed for sales materials, promptly destroyed/discarded, and then the item in question never sees an assembly anywhere - like, ever. Always read those catalogs as “here are the things we COULD be selling, if enough people show interest”. 😂

The Wizard merchandise catalog from 1989. Which one are you rocking? I’d take them all! But the lunch box and poster look really awesome.

Look at you, over here trying to apply context and reason to the performatively slack-jawed, room-temp’ IQ crowd, about a thing they were told to be upset about.

Would you rather a studio that’s fallen dramatically from its creative heights, making a product that sells like a BLT in Afghanistan, be supported in perpetuity by a company who’s trying to actually stay in business?
People are “applauding” insofar as being ok with people who suck at their job having to get a different job. It ain’t that complicated. They lost EA a lot of money by making games that THEY wanted to play, and got shitcanned for it. Unless you’re the landlord or property manager for their commercial office space, you really have nothing to worry about.

Considering how he shops for tooth brushes, I can see it.

Could you imagine this thing rising like Frankenstein on Benadryl while you’re 800 calories into laying some pipe?
