#AI prediction was right-Location Location Location of Synapse. "Micro-sub regional synapse weakening by mimicking the hyperphosphorylation of Tau" Our recent #Tau story. @UKDRI @KingsIoPPN @KingsCollegeLon @adpdnet See more here; academic.oup.com/braincomms/β¦
Many congratulations π What a fantastic PhD viva with Profs Wendy Noble & Alasdair Gibb today, well done Margarita. Excellent news that our last FUS data has been accepted, just a day before the viva.. π @KingsIoPPN @UKDRI
Another BIG congratulations and news from @ChoLab_Synapse, just heard that Margarita's PhD viva "PASS" with no corrections, amazing π€© isn't it? Again, fantastic job Margarita (BCN) π We should thank @KCL_MRCDTP for the PhD studentship @KingsIoPPN @UKDRI
Excellent Margarita's work over the PhD, "Mimicking FUS hypomethylation preferentially weakens excitatory synapses via AMPA and NMDA-receptor dysregulation", she found a specific role of FUS in glutamate receptors. Well done π @KingsIoPPN
Really sad that we lost a remarkable scientist who had a lot of passion to discover the memory mechanism and be an exceptional mentor for all of us in the neuroscience community. I can say only THANK YOU and missing youπ
We are heartbroken to have lost our founder, who provided so much inspiration, but we are all honored to carry on the science he loved so much. picower.mit.edu/news/picower⦠#neuroscience #biology
γγ°γγγπ lunch-discussion with Prof Inoue at @CiRA_KU_J today π . We agreed to an extended π¬π§ π―π΅ collaboration, challenge precision diagnostics for neurodegenerative diseases together through the innovative DataScienceAI @KingsIoPPN #iPSC #AD #ALS
Coincidentally, we were wearing the same navy blue π polo shirts today, like a Samurai Japan π―π΅ Football team!! I really hope that more collaborators join us in the future and make it different. @CiRA_KU_J @KingsIoPPN #iPSC #AD #ALS
