You can cancel an election and ban the winner from running (Romania), you can ban your opponents from ever running again (Hungary), you can threaten to ban the main opposition party and subject it to relentless investigations by the secret police (Germany), you can threaten a ban on the leading presidential candidate and make them wear an ankle monitor (France), every member of your circle can be investigated for corruption (Spain), you can try and cancel local elections because you will lose them (Britain), and you can storm the constitutional court with riot police because you want to control it (Poland). You can just do all these things. The secret is you just have to be on the right side of the European Commission.

Reporter: “What has attracted you to the Mike Rogers campaign?” Detroit voter: “Well, he’s an American.”

Can we all agree that semi-presidential systems are retarded? There should be one executive clearly in charge. Not two.
🚨🇵🇱 THE POLAND SITUATION. A BREAKDOWN: How Poland ended up in a constitutional crisis with police at its highest court. 1. What started this? Prime Minister Donald Tusk wants to reverse the judicial changes introduced under the previous PiS government, which he says compromised the independence of Poland’s courts. A December 2025 EU court ruling strengthened his case, finding serious violations of judicial independence at the Constitutional Tribunal. 2. Why is President Nawrocki fighting back? Nawrocki and PiS argue that Tusk is going beyond judicial reform and attempting to bring the courts under his own government's control. The two sides are also fighting over judicial appointments, leaving the Constitutional Tribunal effectively paralysed. 3. What happened on Friday? Tribunal president Bogdan Święczkowski was reportedly suspended, triggering protests and a police deployment at the court in Warsaw. Nawrocki immediately abandoned his trip to Senegal and headed back to Poland. Święczkowski's camp rejected the suspension as illegal, while PiS politicians accused the government of attempting a coup. 4. Why is this such a serious confrontation? Poland now has two competing claims to constitutional legitimacy. Tusk argues he is restoring judicial independence after years of political interference. Nawrocki and PiS insist the government is violating the very constitutional order it claims to defend. The central problem: Both sides claim to be protecting Poland's Constitution, while fundamentally disagreeing over who has the legal authority to act. Writer: Oliver

Without liberal immigration policies, a candidate like El Sayed would never have have had a chance in Michigan. THAT is why it's an existential issue.

Whenever anyone brags about “diversity”, they always throw in a line about how they’re the most qualified. That’s because they are most definitely NOT the most qualified.
I’m proud to have the most talented, hardest-working cabinet in Virginia’s history. They are also the most diverse cabinet Virginia has ever seen. Every single one of our cabinet secretaries were selected because they’re the best of the best in their respective fields. They also bring invaluable perspectives from across the Commonwealth — from Danville, Hampton Roads, Richmond, NOVA, and more. I’m grateful to get to work with these incredibly dedicated, hard-working, and talented cabinet officials to serve the Commonwealth of Virginia. richmond.com/opinion/column/…

Guys, i don't think they just want healthcare.
A protester holds a sign reading "F*** him right in the neck hole" in front of the "Pick Up the Mic" event with Alex Stein at the University of Oregon, mocking Charlie Kirk's assassination. Charlie was assassinated last year at Utah Valley University during his American Comeback Tour. "Pick Up the Mic" was launched after his death to carry on his campus debates. @TaylerUSA | @TPUSA

If she’s a Brazilian immigrant she should be on the next flight home to her shithole country @SecRubio @StateDept @ICEgov
EXPOSED: The UTSA student accused of celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination in a campus poem has reportedly been IDENTIFIED as Isa Casahuga! Casahuga studies International Relations and Diplomacy at UTSA and is reportedly a Brazilian immigrant. Now she's facing backlash. 👀

At @UTSA for Pick Up the Mic, a student read a poem celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk with such glee, then told me I was brave to be out here without my neck covered. I told her I’d pray for her. This is the climate. We pick up the mic anyway.

If there’s anything Brazil has taught us over the last four years, it’s that Leftists will rig elections, call themselves defenders of democracy while they’re doing it, hijack the courts after they’ve won, use them to convert the country into a soft dictatorship, and then arrest their political enemies, ban free speech, and attack social media platforms they can’t control in order to guarantee that they never lose power ever again. And with that power they will construct an inverted hierarchy that places troons, third worldists, criminals, drug addicts, and mentally ill lunatics at the top of the social pyramid, all while acting like they’re fighting for equality and just being a heckin’ decent human being.

You don't need to do anything illegal or insane to stop the progressives, you just need to enforce the law as written But enforcing the laws as written is considered extreme by bedwetting ConInc types, so the window for resolving the problems under color of law is shrinking rapidly They would rather accuse people of being Woke Nazi pagans because they believe what the founders really said and want to save the country lawfully So they're making the need for extra-constitutional remedies inevitable by demonizing constructional remedies now

Why does it matter whether Samuel Sey is allowed to live in the US or not? His true citizenship is in Heaven.
There’s another side to this story. Full statement from the family to come.

Some call it “inconsistent”. Others call it a “friend/enemy distinction.”
Yes, happy to explain. I don’t think it’s wise to let your opinion of an entire immigration policy be dictated by outlier cases, tragic cases, or sad stories. I also support the second amendment even when there are tragic cases of gun violence. I support ICE and I believe mass deportations are necessary. I believe in law and order and I believe in justice. So does Samuel Sey. I don’t fault ICE for doing its job. I also believe in helping friends when you can, and also believe that mercy is sometimes appropriate. I know Samuel—he’s a good man of integrity. He has made good faith effort to file the right paperwork and comply with the law. He didn’t deceive or purposefully break the law. He would make an excellent American citizen. I hope he can become one someday. There are many other similar cases, I’m sure. It doesn’t change my opinion. All we can do is support justice as well as we can, and extend mercy where appropriate to the best of our ability. You might find this inconsistent, but I don’t. It’s just part of living in a messy world.
