I remember the early days in Nigeria crypto was a dark room where you just hoped the person on the other end of a P2P trade wouldn't disappear with your Naira.
By getting that SEC License , Busha stopped being just another app and became a regulated financial institution. It means they have a physical board of directors, a ₦500 million paid-up capital requirement, and constant audits. They can’t just shut down and run away. They are accountable to the laws of Nigeria.
I’ve seen dozens of exchanges launch with celebrity endorsements and massive parties, only to vanish six months later when the market dips.

It’s been 2+ years of showing people what’s possible onchain and on @solana
2+ years of onboarding, educating, and building a community around the Solana ecosystem.
@AllstarsNG made Solana a household name, redefined and set the pace for the Web3 IRL event landscape in Nigeria.
We helped thousands create their first wallet, fund it, participate in activities, and earn real rewards. We created spaces where people connected, collaborated, and became each other’s Batman and Robin.
I’ve had people walk up to say “thank you” because what they learned ended up paying off. That will always mean something.
It’s been 2+ years of traveling across the country, showing people that this crypto thing isn’t rocket science. And yes we completely ruined the IRL experience for everyone, because once you attend an Allstars event, everything else becomes a blur.
As the curtain falls on this stage, another one opens somewhere else.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this community what it is.

My girl Koxy is one of those who joined @womenindefi_org back in late 2022/early 2023 with zero knowledge in Web3.
From our intro to defi training to our skill up training where she was one of the first beneficiaries of our blockchain development track, today she is doing wonderfully well for herself as a devrel in Stellar West Africa, a category delegate & an official technical reviewer for Stellar organisation, amongst other roles she occupies at Stellar Development Foundation.
Today, she's also working on her project. 🤭
All these are possible because when she joined the community, she knew what she wanted and worked hard to learn and collaborate where possible to get it.
