On Halcyon Blues, Citizen continue their practice of splitting the difference between aggression and beauty pitchfork.com/reviews/albums…

On their sixth album, Citizen channel a mood of regret and reckoning in songs that balance post-hardcore propulsion with disarming buoyancy pitchfork.com/reviews/albums…

.@CitizenMi just released their powerful new album, "Halcyon Blues." The band takes elements from soaring '90s alt-rock, punchy emo, and melancholic post-punk to create catchy, downbeat songs. Get it on indie exclusive Good Fortune color vinyl here: bit.ly/4wctVHq

ALBUM REVIEW: Citizen — 'Halcyon Blues' (8/10) ✍️: @mat_abe182 🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/citize… "‘Halcyon Blues’ feels like such a solid record from one of the best to ever do it. Citizen show exactly why they’re one of the more prominent and important bands not only in the genre, but the scene as a whole. They feel like the gold standard on how to mature as a band, in all the right ways."
