Sunak's tragedy is that, thanks to Brexit cultery, client journalism & Johnson's filthy coat-tails, he got all the way to Chancellor without ever having to answer difficult questions. When he is required to, the mask slips quick & the arrogant condescension kicks in quicker.
Uhoh @Siobhain_Mc has just handed @RishiSunak his arse on a plate....

A “new” Brexit deal under Boris Johnson was always going to lead to disaster in N Ireland. The one Brexit option able to preserve the Good Friday agreement + the Union while controlling immigration was Theresa May’s deal. But Boris J + DUP destroyed it ⁦@RestIsPolitics⁩

If people were “truly sorry” for holding parties under covid restrictions, they would have said so at the time not when they were exposed in the media.

Total, total disgrace. Height of lockdown. Schools closed. Families separated. People unable to visit dying relatives. Everyone making huge sacrifices to protect others. Yet they invited 100 people to drinks. On what planet could any Prime Minister possibly think this was OK?
EXCL: Email obtained by @itvnews proves over 100 staff were invited to drinks party in No 10 garden at height of lockdown to “make the most of the lovely weather”. We’re told PM and his wife attended, with staff invited to “bring your own booze!” itv.com/news/2022-01-10/emai…

May 2020. A then student nurse asked to work on a COVID HDU. I watched people younger than myself die. I watched my friends dad die. I remember my whole bay of patients died, a brand new nurse, seen more deaths than most see in 10 years. How was the party ⁦@BorisJohnson⁩?

On Friday 15th May 2020 at 1 pm we held a minute’s silence on our ward (and throughout our hospital) in memory of those who died from Covid - little did we know that the PM & friends were enjoying a garden party that same afternoon.
