Zumindest fürs Wochenende (weniger Stromverbrauch) sind die Stromnetze relativ gut ausgebaut. Es ist kaum fossiler Strom nötig und der Windstrom kann gut transportiert werden.

Eine tchechische Studie bestätigt: Der Feinstaub im Holzrauch besteht zum größten Teil aus dem besonders gesundheitsgefährdendem PM1-Feinstaub (74-90%), an den wiederum krebserregende PAK gebunden sind.
Es wäre besser, auf Heizen mit Holz zu verzichten.

It's hard to believe that some experts aren't aware that El Niños have a step-change (ratchet) effect on global climate.
El Niño warming is categorically not temporary.
It is irreversible, permanent, forever.
El Niño is the engine that heats up the planet in apocalyptic surges.
This might be the single most important thing to understand about our situation.

What's an acceptable number of deaths?
The number comes from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries' Planetary Solvency report, which places mass death at over 4 billion in the worst-case risk category for 3°C of heating.
