Noticed more guys than usual who were nursing over-use injuries at State 7-on-7 Talking to coaches, seems like kids are just wearing themselves out w/over-training, going to too many camps etc. Your best ability is availability, make sure you are giving your body a chance to recover!! #txhsfb

Happy Father’s Day! I had such a great example to follow and I miss him every day. “I never got to say goodbye to the one man who wanted to see me succeed more than he ever did.” As a dad, we all want our kids to be better than us.

Every school needs a qualified Strength Coach. Just like the fact that now most schools require an Athletic Trainer. On the other hand sport coaches need to understand athletic performance more and what to avoid….

Volleyball S&C… how bad is this? An athlete that I’ve helped train is sending me what her HS coach is doing with bringing in a “volleyball specific weight trainer” These pictures are the first two days of their summer training for majority of girls who have never lifted🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
