EXCLUSIVE: A source sent me this email that allegedly went out to the entire Seattle Fire Department, claiming that because of Socialist Mayor Katie Wilson's proposed budget, $7 million in overtime will be cut and "be managed through planned unit outages, taking our daily minimum staffing from 222 to 209. Depending on staffing levels, four to six units may be taken out of service daily to meet this reduction. This could also mean closing a fire station for a shift if the outage occurs in a single house." Reminder that Wilson claimed her budget prioritized public safety. Also a reminder that SFD terminated 70 firefighters for not getting the jab, many of whom still want their jobs back. Also, the attrition rate for new recruits from the academy is soaring I am awaiting confirmation from SFD
