One of the most surprising and meaningful days of my 28 years coaching.
My @RedHawkFB Receivers gave me an incredible retirement gift today.
So fortunate to coach not just great athletes, but outstanding students and even better young men.
Truly grateful🙏

Son: Dad, weren't those two guys comedians?
Dad: Yep. But when they put on those black suits and sunglasses, the joke was over. These guys could actually bring the house down.

“He’s just got it. I’ve never seen a freshman like him ... look so comfortable. Rico is very athletic for how big he is."

Brothers @Jakeflem3 and @ConorFlem grew up around the @RedHawkFB program. The boys, who represent a third generation of Flemings to attend Marist, have formed one of the CCL's top quarterback-receiver duos.

Through 10 games this season:
Jake Fleming - 2,090 passing yards, 65% completions, 23 TDs on only 4 INTs

One of the more impressive QB-WR combos in the CCL year. Father Pat (AD) and grandfather Patrick both went to Marist!
