A tornado in Clarksville, Tennessee, ripped the roof off Sydney Moore’s home and sucked her 4-month-old baby into the sky still inside his bassinet. But... GOD. ⠀ The father tried to grab the bassinet but the winds swept him up with the infant. Sydney threw herself over their 1-year-old son as the walls collapsed around them. ⠀ When the storm passed their mobile home was destroyed. Both parents and the older child survived, but the baby was missing. They searched the wreckage for about 10 minutes. ⠀ The father then found the infant lying alive in the hollow of a fallen tree roughly 25 feet away. The baby had only minor injuries, including a cut on his face that was later glued. ⠀ The entire family survived with cuts and bruises. Sydney credited their escape to the grace of God. The tornado that struck the area was rated EF-3 with winds up to 150 mph. ⠀ Think about what it means when a 4-month-old is lifted out of a collapsing home inside his bassinet and found alive in a tree minutes later while the rest of the family also walks away.
