The Agnipath Scheme has raised serious questions, and it is time for an honest, transparent and objective assessment. Reels, videos and manufactured narratives cannot suppress the truth forever. The truth will eventually emerge, and every Command must introspect, acknowledge the ground realities and ensure that facts are brought before the public. The safety and security of the Nation must always remain our highest priority.
The sooner we introspect, identify the shortcomings and take corrective measures, the better it will be for our Armed Forces. It is still possible to discard this destructive scheme and adopt a system that genuinely serves the long-term interests of the Nation and its soldiers.
Equally concerning are the videos being circulated by individuals labelled as defaulters. These warrant serious scrutiny, particularly regarding the alleged abuse of authority, the tokenism of Sainik Sammelans, the failure to uphold equality and equal protection of the law, and the weakening of institutional checks and balances. Accountability must be uniform, and the law must apply equally to everyone, irrespective of rank or position.
Restoring these safeguards is neither difficult nor impossible. What is required is a revival of trust, adherence to basic military ethics and commanders who lead with courage, conviction and a sense of responsibility. The Armed Forces need decisive military leaders, not a growing Babu culture that delays decisions, avoids responsibility and seeks external intervention at the cost of leadership qualities and command ethics.
Ultimately, the greatest danger arises when personal ambitions take precedence over institutional interests, professional integrity and the welfare of soldiers.
The Nation comes first. The men who defend it deserve honesty, dignity, fairness and leadership by example. It is time for introspection, accountability and corrective action before the damage becomes irreversible.

An Open Message to Those in the System Who Lack the Courage, Guts and Maturity to Ensure Accountability
You have questioned our integrity, damaged our reputation, affected our pension, and put our family through nearly three years of unimaginable hardship. Yet, the law appears to have been repeatedly overlooked.
Have you forgotten the services both of us rendered to this organisation? When Col Annu Dogra needed safety, dignity and protection, why were institutional responsibilities seemingly overshadowed by personal interests? Why has our innocent child suffered, and why was an interview denied?
Serious questions remain about the events at Military Hospital, Ambala, the alleged confinement, the handling of evidence, the absence of an inquiry, and the silence of those in positions of responsibility.
@UpendraAZ General Dwivedi, why were you silent when Army Order 4/2000 was clear & demanded investigation? The policy dated 3Aug 2023 @dgafms_mod clarifies the applicability of MHCA 2017 but she was forced treatment after PGIMER asked to admit as "High Risk case". DO YOU KNOW WHAT CRIME HAS BEEN COMMITED against a daughter , mother or wife when protection was legal mandate ? You reduced a pension when you had all videos at your table and for one year. Now since you are a veteran and what if a serving officer abuses you or your family? We all are human and have reputation. The maturity is witnessed by every uniformed person and question remains why were no inquiry done?
Why because Adjutant General's brother and Generals at Ambala were involved? We know!! But then also to them and you:
If you believe the facts are otherwise, come and face us in an open forum rather than allowing influence and competing narratives to prevail.
@westerncomd_IA
Why were our complaints and evidence not acted upon? Why are clear answers to RTI requests being withheld? Who will account for the damage caused to our family over these three years?
Rank is not immunity. Authority is not above the law.
Col Annu Dogra has survived, is recovering, and will continue to fight. We will pursue every lawful remedy until truth and accountability prevail.
We served the nation with honour. We seek only justice, dignity, and the rule of law.
You may delay justice, but you cannot silence the truth forever. We will fight until the last lawful remedy is exhausted.
How can the JAG and these Commanders face the mirror with such Silence !! Gives the current Status ..

As a veteran of the Sikh Light Infantry, visiting my Regiment Veterans and interacting with them was an experience that filled my heart with immense pride and enthusiasm.
The coordination, camaraderie, mutual respect and spirit of brotherhood among all ranks were simply outstanding.
DEG TEG FATEH!”

DIRTY POLITICS AND THE SYSTEMATIC DIVERSION OF PUBLIC PROTEST!
Look at how the entire protest has been diverted from its core issue into a confrontation between the police and protesters, with each side now being pitted against the other. This is how politicians strategically divert public attention from the real questions that demand answers!
What is deeply disturbing is that the fundamental questions raised by the protesters remain unanswered. Instead, voices are being suppressed, freedom of expression is being undermined, and even the right to sit peacefully and protest appears to be under threat.
When institutions fail to uphold their independence and constitutional responsibilities, democracy itself is put at risk. The situation we are witnessing today is truly shocking and demands serious introspection.
It may take time to restore what has been lost, but the bigger question is: what is the guarantee that the next government will not follow the same path? If those in power today can misuse authority, engage in corrupt practices, or suppress dissent, what will prevent their successors from doing the same tomorrow?
The answer cannot be a change of government alone. The answer must be systemic reform.
We need concrete laws, strong accountability mechanisms, and genuinely independent institutions that cannot be manipulated by the political establishment of the day. Law enforcement must remain impartial, and citizens must be able to question those in power without fear of intimidation or retaliation.
Otherwise, we will continue moving from one political establishment to another, only to witness the same abuses of power under different faces.
Democracy is not merely about electing a government. It is about ensuring that every government remains accountable to the people and bound by the Constitution.
Nation First. Constitution Above Politics. Accountability Without Fear.

AN APPEAL TO OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE NORTHEAST, THE YOUTH, AND EVERY INDIAN 🇮🇳
I share the concerns that many Indians have. We will seek the truth, question what needs to be questioned, and expose wrongdoing wherever the evidence leads. But, we will not allow anyone to create divisions among us or weaken our unity.
Yes, we know there are realities that must be addressed. But have faith in our Armed Forces and in the young officers and soldiers standing alert on the ground, performing their duties and guarding our borders.
Governments come and go, but India is eternal. Hindustan belongs to every Indian. It is nobody's private property.
Every inch of our land matters. Every citizen matters. And the dignity, identity, and aspirations of our brothers and sisters in the Northeast matter equally.
Let us not fall prey to fake news, propaganda, or attempts to create mistrust. Ask questions, demand accountability, verify facts, and stand united.
Our strength lies in our unity. Our trust lies in our soldiers. Our commitment lies in our Constitution and our motherland.

JANTAR MANTAR, THE NATIONAL FLAG AND THE LAW: IS PEACEFUL PATRIOTISM AN OFFENCE?
Can unfurling the National Flag at Jantar Mantar be wrong merely because citizens are protesting?
The National Flag represents our Constitution, freedom and the sacrifices of countless Indians. It belongs to every citizen, including those who peacefully question the government.
Articles 19(1)(a) and 19(1)(b) of the Constitution guarantee freedom of speech and expression and the right to assemble peacefully without arms, subject to constitutionally permissible restrictions.
Is Jantar Mantar a “Prohibited Place”?
Section 2(8) of the Official Secrets Act, 1923, defines a “prohibited place” by reference to specified defence establishments and other places falling within the statutory definition. Certain other locations require a Central Government notification in the Official Gazette, subject to the applicable statutory conditions.
Jantar Mantar does not automatically become a prohibited place under the Official Secrets Act merely because it is a protest venue or because restrictions are imposed on public gatherings.
Authorities may regulate protests under other applicable laws or lawful orders. However, regulating a gathering does not, by itself, convert the venue into a “prohibited place” under the Official Secrets Act.
What Has the Supreme Court Said?
In Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan v. Union of India (2018), the Supreme Court recognised the importance of peaceful protest and addressed the need to balance protesters’ fundamental rights with the rights of residents and the public.
The legal position is clear in principle: peaceful protest is a constitutional right, but it remains subject to lawful and reasonable restrictions.
Is Unfurling the Tricolour an Offence?
The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, and the Flag Code of India govern the respectful display and use of the National Flag.
Unfurling the Tricolour is not, by itself, automatically an offence. Any allegation must be assessed against the applicable law, the circumstances and any specific lawful restriction.
If an authority alleges a violation, it should identify the particular law or order and explain how the conduct contravened it.
THE CONSTITUTIONAL QUESTION
If citizens peacefully unfurl the National Flag to express their grievances, the issue is not whether they love their country. The issue is whether their conduct violates a specific, applicable legal restriction.
Patriotism and peaceful dissent are not mutually exclusive. Respect for the National Flag must coexist with respect for the Constitution that protects our freedoms.
THE TRICOLOUR BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE OF INDIA. PEACEFUL DISSENT IS NOT, BY ITSELF, DISLOYALTY TO THE NATION.
Jai Hind!

WHEN INSTITUTIONS BOW TO POWER, DEMOCRACY BEGINS TO DIE!
It increasingly appears that the heads of our institutions, which are constitutionally expected to function independently and fearlessly, have become mere puppets in the hands of the ruling regime. If institutions meant to uphold the Constitution, protect citizens' rights, and hold those in power accountable begin to appear subservient to the political executive, it raises deeply disturbing questions about the health of our democracy.
A democracy cannot survive on elections alone; it survives on independent institutions, fearless dissent, and the rule of law. When institutional independence is compromised, accountability weakens, public trust erodes, and the concentration of power becomes dangerous.
The greatest threat to democracy is not merely an authoritarian government, but the gradual weakening of the institutions that are supposed to restrain its authority.
A government may change through elections, but if institutions lose their independence, the very spirit of democracy stands endangered.

CONTINUING ATTACKS ON VETERANS AND FAMILY : SERIOUS ISSUE AND WE MUST STAND TOGETHER FOR JUSTICE !! FORWARDING THE REQUEST: MUST SHARE!
From a Sikh Light Infantry Veteran – Sapinder Singh
I am Sapinder Singh, a proud veteran of the Sikh Light Infantry.
I served my country with honour. Today I stand with a bleeding heart, not for myself, but for the dignity of every veteran and every family that looks to the uniform for protection.
On the night of 3rd October 2026, my family and I were brutally attacked outside our home in Village Berpur (Kherpur), Block Majri, SAS Nagar.
While I was on duty as a security guard, a group led by Gurmukh Singh, his son Lovpreet Singh, Sulakhan Singh, Gurnoor Singh, Prabhjot Singh and 5-6 others came to my house, hurled abuses, threw bricks and stones, and then launched a violent assault.
I was pushed to the ground and struck on the head with an iron rod.
My daughter Simranpreet Kaur was slapped, thrown to the ground, and then molested / outraged in modesty by Lovpreet Singh.
My elderly father Kashmira Singh and my brother Satnam Singh were also beaten.
A sharp-edged weapon (kirpan-like) was used on me.
We were left injured and bleeding. We had to be admitted to Civil Hospital, Kurali.
FIR No. 0096 dated 04.10.2026 has already been registered at Police Station Block Majri under Sections 74, 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 351(2), 191(3) & 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Yet the accused are still roaming free.
I demand immediate and fair action:
Arrest of all named accused without further delay.
Protection for me and my family.
Speedy investigation and charge-sheet.
This is not just an attack on one family. This is an attack on a Sikh Light Infantry veteran who served the nation. If a soldier’s family can be assaulted like this in Punjab, what message does it send to every serving and retired jawan?
I appeal to all fellow veterans, especially those from Sikh Light Infantry and nearby units – please stand with me. Your voice and presence matter.
I request the following authorities for urgent intervention:
@BhagwantMann (CM Punjab)
@DGPPunjabPolice @PunjabPoliceInd
@SSP_SASNagar @dcmohali
@adgpi (Indian Army) – for the protection and dignity of veterans
A veteran does not beg for justice.
He only asks that the system he served does not abandon him when he needs it most.
Jai Hind.
