Yet another reason we MUST provide opportunities for age groups to mix & balance teaching the word with intentual discipleship.
They’ll walk out to the bleachers and sit in their short sleeves on a perfect afternoon…

“I’m very grateful to serve as the BCM president for this next year. I know the Lord has big plans for our campus and ministry, and I’m excited to work alongside both staff and student leadership to further the Gospel and connect students to our local churches.”

My husband has three rules of engagement when we go to church.
1. An alone person in our gathering is an emergency
2. Friends can wait
3. Introduce a newcomer to someone else

Remember your pastors today, yes, but also pray for all the layfolk using their only day off to prep for Sunday School or Bible studies, oft-unsung heroes on Sundays who work for free, for the pure joy of helping feed the flock.

We asked Sydney what her favorite memory of the BCM is so far... “Having all of the students in the BCM together singing and worshiping God during our 1st gathering. I knew that I had found a group where I could make great friends & we could grow in our faith together.” #hogbcm

Tonight and tomorrow, your pastor is probably second-guessing his sermon, certain it stinks, feeling likes he's got nothing.
He's wrong. But he doesn't know it.
Pray for him on Saturday, email him an encouragement on Monday.
That one-two punch might save his ministry.

Just a couple days away. Be sure you 1) plan to be there 2) promote in your groups 3) invite someone personally.

“Church involvement is important because it connects people who seek Christ above all else. They are able to grow together and support each other in accountability and wisdom as they grow in Christ.”
