My concern over "hallucination" of neural networks persists. I recommend people to use this only for map interpretation, not for refinement!!!

Thanks to @ColinMPalmer, the "mrcfile" Python packages now supports float16 (mode 12) MRC files. github.com/ccpem/mrcfile
RELION float16 branch FOR DEVELOPERS: github.com/3dem/relion/commi…
This will be merged into RELION 3.2, not 3.1.
In this branch, all programs can read float16 MRC files. MotionCorr, Extract, Polish and relion_image_handler can write float16 with --float16. The default remains float32

Optimal cryo-ET and subtomogram averaging workflows can be a pain - we put together a little toolkit which simplifies working between Warp-RELION-M and Dynamo, providing automation where possible and more flexibility if needed! 1/n biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Unfortunately the re-scheduled 3DEM GRC for June 2021 is also cancelled due to the pandemic. GRC says all meetings planned between May and July 2021 are cancelled. We will work with the GRC for alternatives, and I will keep you posted through Twitter and the 3DEM mailing list.
