What do Google and SpaceX know that the doubters don’t? Ask @aaronburnett wsj.com/tech/spacex-google-i…
Feels like orbital compute/infrastructure is another one of those things where the industry pioneers are way ahead of consensus (outdated?) thinking across tech and investor communities.

SpaceXAI and @AnthropicAI have also expressed interest in partnering to develop multiple gigawatts of orbital AI compute capacity

This is the ROI on infra spend you're looking for. From our April report on "Tokenomics": massive inflection in token usage and relative inelasticity of pricing for reasoning should translate into meaningful growth/margins for hyperscalers... #BairdResearch @rwbaird $AMZN $GOOGL

Anthropic is ODC-pilled. Add them to the growing list of mega cap cos that see this is the obvious outcome.

We released our 80 page institutional orbital data center report a few days ago. This article is the public distillation of its most important points. This specifically answers the economic crossover of point for ODCs vs TDCs (terrestrial data centers). There has been far far too much handwringing on the topic. Many are starting to consider it closed. This work is the basis for not just agreeing or disagreeing on if it can happen but the foundation for when it will happen and how much cheaper it will be.

SpaceXAI and @cursor_ai are now working closely together to create the world’s best coding and knowledge work AI. The combination of Cursor’s leading product and distribution to expert software engineers with SpaceX’s million H100 equivalent Colossus training supercomputer will allow us to build the world’s most useful models. Cursor has also given SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor later this year for $60 billion or pay $10 billion for our work together.

Fairly unprecedented for an investment bank (or any financial services company)…23 years consecutively ranked by Fortune as one of the best places to work in the U.S. Congrats to the @rwbaird team! greatplacetowork.com/certifi…

Now this seems like a very Canadian thing to do :-)
The entire country will be watching on Sunday morning as our men’s hockey team plays for Olympic gold. To help us all celebrate Team Canada, the province will be allowing bars and restaurants across the province to sell alcohol starting at 6:00 a.m. EST. Let’s all come together, support local businesses and cheer on Team Canada! @douglasdowney

Sobering… “Up to 73% of summaries produced by frontier models have been found to contain inaccurate or exaggerated scientific conclusions” (Cambridge, Utrecht study)

This aired tonight to 1 billion people in China. A year ago these robots could barely wave a handkerchief, now they can do backflips and kung fu with nunchucks. Physical intelligence is the next frontier.
