Simply his ability to speak coherently makes him the best president in my lifetime lol. Like the bar is so low , the fact that he speaks at twice the words per minute as Trump is enough for me. And this an actual fact. Trump around 70 wpm Obama 116-140 wpm lol

At $500k a pop, Obama would have to give a speech every night for the next twelve years to match the $2.2 billion in openly corrupt income Trump pulled in in 2025 alone.
Makes speeches for 500k a pop. Hasn’t eaten dinner that costs less than $250 in years. Has never been in a Cheesecake Factory. Undefeated at condescending to regular folks. Will always be known for a presidency that ushered in the Trump era to begin with.

Where ? Oh , Mississippi. Thought so
A deputy put the barrel of his gun into a man's mouth and pulled the trigger. It clicked. So he racked the slide and pulled it again. Michael Jenkins lived. This was JANUARY 2023. Braxton, Mississippi. 24 January 2023. A white neighbour telephoned the police to report that two Black men were at a house with a white woman. The homeowner, Kristi Walley, was a childhood friend of one of them. She was in hospital at the time. Six officers came. Five were Rankin County sheriff's deputies. The sixth was an off-duty officer from another force. They broke the front door down. They had no warrant. They called themselves the Goon Squad. Over roughly ninety minutes they handcuffed Michael Jenkins and Eddie Parker, beat them, used tasers on them repeatedly, poured liquids over them, sexually assaulted Parker with an object, and threatened them with rape. They used racial slurs throughout and told the men to go back to Jackson — to their side of the river. Then Hunter Elward put his service weapon in Michael Jenkins's mouth for what the officers later described as a mock execution. The first pull clicked. He racked the slide and pulled again. The round tore through Jenkins's tongue and shattered his jaw. He survived. Read the date again. The twenty-fourth of January, two thousand and twenty-three. Not 1963. Not Mississippi in the era your grandmother remembers. Three years ago, in a house, by men in uniform, who had a name for themselves. What they did next is at nine this morning, and it is arguably worse.

Samuel Little drew his victims from memory. About fifty faces, decades after he killed them. He confessed to 93 murders in 19 states between 1970 and 2005, more than Bundy and Dahmer combined. For almost fifty years nobody hunted him, because of who the women were. It ended when one Texas Ranger drove out to ask him about a single cold case. He picked prostitutes, addicts and homeless women. In his own words, women nobody would come looking for. He was right. Their deaths were written up as overdoses and accidents. In 2014 California gave him three life sentences for three stranglings. He denied all of it. Then a Texas Ranger called James Holland drove out to the prison with one question about one woman. Holland says you do not talk to a man like that about remorse, or about the families. "They don't have remorse and they don't care about closure." So he told Little he knew he was not a rapist. He was a killer. That is how Little sees himself, and he started talking. Seven hundred hours of it. His memory turned out to be photographic. He described unusual arches near a spot outside Miami, and detectives drove out and found the arches. He had killed a woman there in 1976. "Nothing he has ever said has been proven to be wrong or false." Fifty cold cases, dormant for decades, were closed in a little over a year. Then Holland gave him art supplies. He drew about fifty faces from memory. On one of them he wrote: "Sam killed me but I love him." Holland, who has spent a career in rooms like that one, puts it this way. "I can't remember the person who checked me out of the hotel this morning. If someone gave me a million dollars to draw her face, I couldn't do it." In the video below the Ranger explains why he agreed to talk at all. The FBI is releasing recordings of Little describing women nobody ever reported missing, in the hope that somebody watching recognises one of them. One of his sketches ran in the Chicago Tribune, because nobody could work out who the woman was. A man saw it and called in. He had been five years old when his mother disappeared. He recognised her from a drawing made by the man who killed her. Would you want to see it?

In 1994, Pearl Jam wanted fans to pay no more than $20 for a ticket. Ticketmaster's $3.25 fee pushed the price past that line, and the band canceled its summer tour rather than accept it. In the video below, the band tells Congress who it was fighting for. "All the members of Pearl Jam remember what it's like to be young and not have a lot of money." Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament testified before a House subcommittee on June 30, 1994. Gossard said part of Ticketmaster's fee went back to promoters and venues and blamed "this incestuous relationship and the lack of any national competition for Ticketmaster." Asked whether Ticketmaster was entitled to a profit, the band answered: "I think our main concern is, are we entitled to use a different company other than Ticketmaster?" Aerosmith's manager told the subcommittee what Steven Tyler had said to him: "Mussolini may have made the trains run on time, but not everyone could get a seat on that train." Ticketmaster said it had offered, through promoters, to cut the fee to $2.25 or $2.50, depending on the area. It blamed the band: "They said this was it, take it or leave it." Pearl Jam wanted $1.80. The gap was 45 to 70 cents a ticket. The next year, the band sold a tour through a smaller company and canceled half the dates. Eleven days later, the Justice Department closed its investigation without filing a case. On April 15, 2026, 32 years after the testimony, a jury found that Live Nation and Ticketmaster had illegally maintained a monopoly and that fans in 22 states had overpaid an average of $1.72 a ticket. Live Nation is contesting the verdict. Who cost the fans the 1994 tour: Pearl Jam or Ticketmaster?

"Iran has restarted its nuclear program, and it wants to destroy us within a short time," Netanyahu said an hour ago. IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has warned that resuming the war this close to Tuesday's election will force the vote to be postponed indefinitely. Alex Rodriguez says his mother, who worked two jobs and sometimes brought home just $65 in tips, refused a $1,000,000 offer from the Seattle Mariners when he was 17 years old and their family was broke, because she believed he was worth more “The story was that the Mariners had offered me a million dollars. My mom, who had two jobs at the time, was a secretary in the morning, serving tables at night, said, ‘Absolutely not. If we don't get $1.5 million, my son is going to college, to the University of Miami, where he's going to play quarterback and shortstop.’ And I was thinking, looking at my mom like, ‘Mom, are you sure? We're broke. This is a lot of money.’” “She was so courageous that at the very end, it came down to a box of bats and two first-class tickets on American Airlines. So in the wee hours, we finally came to an agreement that it would be $1.35 million. It would be a three-year major league contract. I was 17, and the Mariners would buy me major league wood, my Louisville Slugger, while I was playing in the minors. The wood in the major leagues is much better than the one in the minor leagues.” “And then since I was 17, and I was supposed to be going to be a freshman in college, I was like, ‘I'm going all the way to Seattle. My mom, can she get three first-class tickets so that she can come see me three times a year?’ And they said, ‘That's it?’ I said, ‘That's it.’ So we got a deal, and then we started celebrating, and everybody was happy.” “Yeah, I mean, that I took from my mom, honestly. My mother and my sister were more in charge of the negotiation than I was. They were basically not even asking for my opinion. My mom was running point. That's my manager.” “And it was crazy. My mom would get home at 11:30 at night. I would take her pouch away and start counting her tip money. And anytime we had like 65 bucks, it was a great night. And here we are, counting 65 bucks in tips and ones, and my mom's like, ‘Nope, it's $1.5 million or nothing.’ I'm like, ‘Mom, are you nuts?’”

The irony of adulthood is something else. I’m a grown man. A homeowner. A father. I pay the mortgage, the bills, the taxes. This is MY house. Yet here I am, sitting at my kitchen table trimming cannabis, watching the clock because I have to make sure everything is cleaned up, put away, and the house doesn’t smell like weed before my kids get home. Somewhere along the way, I went from being a teenager hiding weed from my parents to being a parent hiding weed from my teenagers. Full circle. The funniest part? I’m not even doing anything wrong. I’m a responsible adult, in my own home, doing something perfectly legal. But apparently, no matter how old you get, there’s always somebody you’re worried about coming home and smelling weed. 🤣🌿

Yo by 30 I’m noticing males are growing grey hairs now. Not normal. What’s in the water or the foods? Lack of vitamins?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Gray hairs commonly start appearing in men by their mid-30s as a normal genetic part of aging, not unusual or mainly from water/food/vitamins. my.clevelandclinic.org/health/symptom… biologyinsights.com/when-do-men-st… fullyvital.com/blogs/hair-car… pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22716034/

When I danced for the Atlanta Hawks, we got paid $65 a game. When I was an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader, we got $75 a game. Keep in mind we had to be there at 8am + didn’t leave til after 5. We did promos + fan pix before the game and danced the whole thing. Basically $8 an hour.
As someone who has was paid $25 a game dancing for the Chicago Bulls, I love this. Cheerleaders and dancers bring a lot of entrainment value to events, and it’s about time they’re not only appreciated, but paid!

If you had $250,000 saved and your sibling needed $50,000 to avoid losing their house, would you help?
