So this is stupid. I'm not saying women shouldn't own guns, I'm saying it's not the solution he's presenting it as. When women shoot or kill their attackers, they typically do three times the amount of prison the man does even if convicted of raping & beating her.

There is a simple solution to this. Women need to own guns. They need to train with them. They need to learn how to defend themsleves before the get hurt. Getting into rhat elevator wod have given her the second she needed to pull her gun if she had one and had it holstered.

On top of this, women are statistically more likely to be murdered by their own gun when they are dealing with domestic abuse more than they are likely to stop the abuser. Assuming that gun ownership means automatic protection means you have not researched the reality and facts.

And before y'all jump down my throat I am not saying "let's all ban guns" or whatever. I'm saying that women with weapons still get assaulted and killed, and the statistics around that are quite grim. If guns were an easy, successful fix, we wouldn't have this problem anymore.
