I’m tired of being told that it is incorrect to care about this.
Some 18.7 million bats died from wind turbines in the United States between 1981 and 2024, a new study estimates—and the problem has grown dramatically worse in recent years. The research suggests about 100,000 bats died per year 2 decades ago. But by 2021, the boom in wind farms had pushed the toll to 1.5 million bats annually. Learn more: scim.ag/4jDOkCB

🚨 We urgently need blankets at our Philadelphia headquarters! 🚨 Our Animal Law Enforcement team recently rescued a large group of cats, many of whom are battling panleukopenia, a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening disease. The cats are being cared for in isolation areas, and our team is taking every precaution to protect them and the other animals in our care. Staff wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict cleaning and sanitation protocols to help prevent the virus from spreading. We take the health and safety of every animal here incredibly seriously. As part of these precautions, we have to throw away the blankets these cats use during each cleaning to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. This means we’re going through blankets much faster than usual and urgently need donations to help keep our cats warm and comfortable. If you have extra blankets to spare, we could really use them right now! Donations can be dropped off at 350 E Erie Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134. You can also shop our Amazon wishlist: amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2Y… Thank you for always showing up for the animals who need us most! ❤️

Denmark, once the world's largest mink fur producer, is ending mink fur farming. That's what systemic change looks like. As people grow more vocal about ending animal cruelty, policymakers, markets and institutions are responding. That’s why the future is fur-free. humaneworld.org/en/blog/fur-… #FurFreeEurope #AnimalWelfare

Your “explanations” for the “Gimbal” UAP (your signature debunk) have been irrefutably falsified and there are now countless highly credible reports of black triangles and fiery spheres flying in profoundly perplexing ways, but *THIS* is what you’re spinning out about, @MickWest?
IMPORTANT: New discoveries in the ‘Gimbal’ UAP Video *DEFINITIVELY* Falsify the ‘Glare’ and ‘Distant Jet’ Theories The object conducted extraordinary maneuvers despite lacking wings or apparent means of propulsion. Video: youtube.com/watch?v=hk_cuDp3… @DoW_AARO H/t: @ZaineMichael1

Via @CityAndStateNY: @SpeakerMenin had to stare down an old-fashioned union boss, Transport Workers Union international president John Samuelsen, whose bare-knuckle style of politics had scared countless elected leaders into stasis for many years. But @JulieMenin and her colleagues did a stellar job representing their constituents and this action to phase out the industry reflects the will of a large majority of New Yorkers. Polls show that 70% of New Yorkers want New York City to join the dozens of other cities around the world who have already banned this inhumane and dangerous form of transportation. cityandstateny.com/opinion/2…
