My problem is I get bored painting the same subject matter, in the same media, in the same style, over and over and over again, and the only way to really make it as an artist is to paint the same subject matter, in the same media, in the same style, over and over and over again.

If your job is to speak into a microphone for a living and you have not taken the time to cure your speech impediment, then you are not good at your job. The amount of spittle that mic must be covered with after Carton gets done sloppily lisping into it all day. Oof.
This man is great at his job. This is his job. Craig would either come in today and gloat, or you will spend the day making his post go viral and then he will just laugh. Got ‘em again. Sports radio 2026. When everyone stops screaming and realizes that, you can enjoy the day.

After being laid up and incapacitated for the better part of the last few weeks, I'm running to play catch up on both overdue art orders and bills. So, I'm currently taking the best offer on all these original watercolor pieces. Please give 'em a look and pass it around. Thanks!

Selling all of these for just $50 to $75 while I try to figure out what the hell has been wrong with me for the last few weeks and if/when I'm going to recover enough to work full-time again. Please feel free to share.

Surprised I still have most of these, but I though this John Lennon piece would get snatched up within hours of me posting it.

Happy early Halloween, everybody! Here's a new painting celebrating the 60th anniversary of "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" on October 27th, one of the all-time great holiday specials. This was a lot of fun to do, and is one of my favorite holiday pieces yet. DM to buy!

Been rewatching Venture Bros and I just noticed a special guest who was in Columbus Circle at Sirena's birthday party in season 6 (aside from The Monarch).

John Harbaugh took over a last-place Giants team that had endured double-digit loss totals in eight of the past nine seasons. Now they’re first in the NFC East and have matched their win total from last season. Despite losing their starting QB, sack leader and leading tackler to injuries. Coaching is important.

If MLB uses the 45 degree rule in the future to define a swing then I want nothing to do with this review system Bat broke front of the plate which, imo, has always and should forever be the definition of a swing 45 degrees in insane. It will always be a check swing then
The Yandy Diaz strikeout to end Game 2 would not have been close to a swing under the review system they've been testing in the minor leagues (via @tangotiger)

He’s 100% RIGHT about his point here
Cam Skattebo on penalty: "The NFL loves to post me when I do stuff like that but then also wants to take stuff from me. I'm going to run the ball like I want to run the ball. If I'm going to continue to get flags for it or fined for it, guess I'm going to play for free." #giants

I dont know a single defensive player in any era that would want a ref to throw a flag on a offensive player for unsportsman conduct for trucking him..

I was deep in my early 20s Palahniuk phase when this came out. Read this and saw the not-too-bad movie, with Sam Rockwell, Anjelica Huston, and a pre-Community Gillian Jacobs playing a stripper.
you dont want your kid to read age inappropriate stuff but when i was 12 i read choke by chuck palahnuik which is about a guy that picks up girls at sex addicts meetings and that convinced me reading was cool and i never stopped reading since then so, sometimes its kind of a wash

I like how this gives a real nice look at the front tooth I chipped two weeks after my dog died and two weeks before my dad did, when I found out he was headed to the ER *again*, got shitfaced at Blue Ruin, then tripped and fell stepping off the curb and into a pothole on 9th Ave

Ryan Gosling’s scream in THE NICE GUYS (2016) is comedy perfection. 😂
What’s a movie scene that made you laugh so hard your stomach hurt and you genuinely struggled to catch your breath? The kind of scene where even thinking about it years later still makes you laugh.

We’re always surprised to learn how many guests skip The American Adventure, and even more surprised that many haven’t even heard of it! Disney loved it so much they even created an hour-long TV special just for it. You don’t walk past, do you?!
