Just leaving Seattle after filming with @medbridge for a course on using digital care options to help build therapeutic alliance and patient engagement I've got some time at the airport so let's do a quick preview 🧵

RPI does this for their physical therapy patients are more companies should. ⬇️ Patients deserve to know what they’re paying for their healthcare. 👏
400 million physical therapy visits. 400 million steps towards recovery. 400 million potential financial missteps. Here's the paradox: We focus on physical progress but remain in the dark about the financial impact. In a transparent PT world: You'd know the PRICE of each session upfront. You'd understand how many sessions you might need. You'd see the price difference between providers. But it goes deeper: Transparency in PT isn't just about session prices. It's about the cost of the entire recovery journey. Imagine knowing: The potential savings of completing your PT. The financial impact of skipping sessions. The long-term value of your investment in recovery. This level of transparency: Motivates adherence to treatment plans. Allows for better financial planning. Empowers patients to be partners in their care. The PT paradox dissolves when: Financial clarity matches physical progress tracking. Cost discussions become as routine as exercise prescriptions. Patients see the value, not just the price, of their recovery. Are we ready to make PT transparent? To align financial and physical healing? Remember, in physical therapy, The path to recovery should be clear Both for your body and your budget. #healthcare #ShowMeThePrice -Rojas out

These WebPT outages are getting ridiculous. I need some help in searching for a new EMR. I don't know anyone on Prompt who doesn't love it. What other options should we be considering? Or should we not even be considering other options?

Replying to @Challenger_ST
I would say actually have him assessed by a therapist in real time. These questions are SO hard to answer (despite how often PT’s get them). A *good* assessment is complex. Anyone who’s answering is treating a diagnosis, not evaluating what’s leading to the issue.

Absolute best part of this? The hype man giving that belt to Humrichous was Aces leading scorer from last season, only pre-season all-conference selection, who sat for the last 10-15 minutes in favor of 3 newcomers. That's culture.

The best part about winning the Ascend Practice of the Year Award has been the follow up interactions with the team @WebPT They've asked a ton of good questions that have helped bring about more clarity for myself and our team. Thank you for the honor!

Your business doesn't need to be good at 100 things. You need to be great at the 3 things that solve the other 97. The hard part is discovering what those 3 things are.

Ok...last thing... I wanted to teach this content because I believe in it. If we can be the ones who cut through the red tape first and best, that will go further to making PTs the first choice for NMSK care than anything we've done to this point.
