It's state funded, so it doesn't need to do well to keep existing. It'll just keep getting the funds, and you'll keep paying for them, whether you like it or not. Another reason why taxation is immoral.

I believe it was due to a lack of confidence on the brand. "General audiences will not like oriental fantasy, so just make it a sci-fi movie". They wanted to ride on the popularity of the name, but didn't have confidence in what it represented. So they just made a generic movie.

Think about this when you read a news article criticizing something someone has said.

- Option A: Please OG fans and new ones alike by making a faithful remake as fans were begging for. - Option B: Split the fanbase down the middle and piss off a great portion of the OG fanbase by making pseudo-sequel. SquareEnix: Option B it is!

There's no point in asking the wolf to protect the sheep. Just cast him out.

The experts also said that Assassins Creed Shadows was a great success, and then Ubisoft went for sale. The "experts" are only experts on trying to gaslight people.

Ignore this man. Don't let it get to you. Someone who goes to these extents of discourse because someone online has a different opinion about a VIDEO GAME, is not worth dealing with. And no way those likes aren't botted.
