I am immensely honored to have been selected to serve as Chair of the Advisory Committee for the first-ever established International Students Association (ISA) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health! This pioneering role signifies a momentous step in supporting and empowering our international student community. The formation and official recognition of the International Students Association represent a pivotal step towards addressing the unique challenges faced by international students. This association represents all students coming from outside of the USA. We make up more than 40% of the entire student population. In my advisory role, I am focused on guiding the development of initiatives and policies tailored specifically to the diverse needs of international students, aiming to enhance their academic and cultural experience. A heartfelt congratulations to the entire team who made this possible. ******************************** Thank you to the president of the student Assembly and the leadership for supporting such a critical student body. 🔍Our Shared Vision is to cultivate an environment that not only supports but also empowers our international students. We are dedicated to making #JohnsHopkins not just an institution of learning but a home away from home. 🙌 Congratulations to us All. #JohnsHopkinsPublicHealth #InternationalStudents #DiversityInEducation #GlobalHealthLeadership
