Upcoming alt project hear me out:
all you need to launch a mascot AI agent before you launch your own token on which you raised funds.
Launch your mascot AI agent token which is a meme in itself...100% supply to community..burn 100% dev supply... launch it at $100K market cap, and let people discover price on it by speculating on the team which is behind the mascot thats where your fundamental will come in the speculation while retail will see a clear upside on 100x from mascot AI coin.
when the right time comes, launch staking for your mascot AI agent coin giving rewards in the Main token ( pass on 20% supply to mascot token holder in form of passive income)
and you gonna end up pulling up great attention for your main token + you will have a cult community in place before the TGE + you will have your own mascot agent who will shill about your project rentlessly driving the right education, clearing FUD, building hype and everything.
we've some early validation of this concept with $AVA which gave me this whole idea -- why not make it a new meta to save innovation in the space, give people what they need, and get what you want from them-- building a balanced act between culture and tech.

These are my TOP AIRDROP TARGETS for the rest of 2024. No ref links, no fluff. Lets get to it...
1. Bitcoin ecosystem:
Why? Massive open ocean, huge TVL that could be unlocked, & less diluted because higher learning curve and barrier to entry. The Bitcoin ecosystem right now is what Solana was ~ a year ago. Huge potential.
Top targets:
- @MezoNetwork (a whole new ecosystem about to come online)
- @Lombard_Finance & @babylonlabs_io (BTC staking is big $)
- @fractal_bitcoin and anything backed by @unisat_wallet
- @Stacks ecosystem (there are tons of new projects coming online here too)
- There's lots more, you can check out my youtube video on BTC farming for more in-depth breakdowns
2. Solana Ecosystem:
Why? Massive retail adoption, interesting new products launching, Solana airdrops have historically outperformed Ethereum airdrops
Top Targets:
- @JupiterExchange round 2 (canโt fade the best team in the eco)
- @MeteoraAG for LP
- @uselulo for yield and defi points farming
- @solayer_labs and @sanctumso Season 2 for โstakingโ
- Anything memecoin related (@usemoonshot, @lmaohq, @pumpdotfun, etc.) Although you need to be careful not to lose money just in an attempt to farmโฆ but this is clearly the dominant meta for Solana and AT LEAST ONE of these is bound to tokenize.
- Passive farms like @switchboardxyz earn Orbs and get an airdrop for interacting with Solana defi using this oracle
3. Ethereum Ecosystem:
Why? Despite lagging in growth, Ethereum still has the most defi TVL by a wide margin (especially if you include L2s). It has big network effects and generally there is still an โairdrop metaโ to be farmed.
Top Targets:
- @farcaster_xyz they have over 100M in funding and decentralized social has a strong narrative. I need to be more active there.
- @Polymarket (biggest predictions market with possibility to tokenize)
- @layer3xyz unironically I think this is one of the best places for people with LOW CAPITAL and lots of TIME to focus. Itโs an airdrop lego because you earn $L3 airdrops plus you get to interact with a million other airdrop targets. It gives you clear goals and objectives and you can click buttons until your fingers fall off.
- The L2 airdrop trade is nearly cooked BUT a few remaining L2s might still have decent yield: @use_corn is the newest one with decent funding - worth looking into. @LineaBuild, @Scroll_ZKP, @Mint_Blockchain, @berachain & @MorphL2 havenโt dropped yet. Others can still be farmed for their round 2+ airdrops, like @zksync, @modenetwork, @taikoxyz, @Optimism, etc. Some of these will likely drop peanuts but some will be decent.
- Staking/restaking ROI is compressing into something that looks a lot like linear yield farming. Newer options like @symbioticfi might have more upside from this point than @eigencloud and EIGEN LRTs. I do still like using these assets as collateral or to farm multiple airdrops at once. Like depositing an LRT into @MitosisOrg on an L2 - you hit 4 or 5 airdrops with the same capital. There are also still interesting yield legos on @pendle_fi and similar apps where you can farm multiple TVL-based airdrop simultaneously. After $EIGEN and all the LRT coins like $SWELL and $COOK I am going to be in need of a new TVL sink ... BTCfi might be the best play if I'm being honest
4. Aptos Ecosystem:
Why? Good funding, fast chain, large community supply, and actually has some dApps worth checking out.
Top Targets:
- Just doing @Aptos transactions and interacting with the network weekly because there is a massive outstanding supply of $APT that is meant to go towards the โcommunity.โ
- @AmnisFinance for staking APT
- @AriesMarkets for lending/borrowing
- Liquid Swap by @PontemNetwork for LP and swapping (meme coins have made it to Aptos too)
5. Bridges / Interoperability:
Why? High valuations = good airdrops, the tech is necessary to enable cross-chain liquidity, and bridge-farming has become less diluted post-TGE for tokens like ZRO and W
Top Targets:
- @hyperlane
- @LayerZero_Core round 2
- @wormhole round 2
- @jumperapp as an aggregator (route through @StargateFinance and Wormhole for airdrop legos)
- OFC there are other bridges but I am becoming increasingly skeptical that they will drop good value
6. Cosmos Ecosystem:
Why? This is a question that is becoming increasingly difficult to answer.
Top Targets:
- @unicornandmemes, the only Cosmos project I actually use regularly and have fun experimenting with. Still receiving regular airdrops of meme coins and trading with $UWU.
- I am still staking ATOM, DYM, TIA, & AXL (including via LST providers) but this may be a form of Stockholm syndrome. Iโm much less bullish on Cosmos now than I was even earlier this year. There just isnโt a super compelling killer app/use case and Cosmos is lagging behind Solana and other newer Alt L1 ecosystems.
7. Other Ecosystems:
Why? Emerging ecosystems do have potential although itโs pretty impossible to spread your attention and liquidity to reach every single one.
Top Targets:
- Sui
- Sei
- Telegram and the Ton blockchain ecosystem (closely linked)
8. Random opportunities:
- @AnzenFinance stable coin protocol on Base is interesting
- @monad_xyz, which nobody can confirm if itโs real or not.
- @megaeth
- @union_build once they launch mainnet
- @triadfi on Solana
- Some testnets like @plumenetwork and @initia could launch mainnet soon, worth monitoring these
- Crypto games like @RuniverseGame have potential as well, although it's tough to know which game will COOK
9. Things I am completely fading:
- Random money markets / DEXes on ETH L2s: Iโll obviously LP and use these while farming OTHER things as part of yield legos but as standalones I think most will be worth peanuts. Weโve seen several examples of failed launches in this category and I donโt have high hopes any more for these UNLESS they are massively cross-chain and have huge funding and huge TVL.
- Perp Dexes: I feel like the ship has sailed on perp dex farming. Now there are too many of them and there have been a lot of disappointing drops so far (most recently Orderly and LogX). Plus there is always the risk that you get liquidated and lose more trading than you would earn from the airdrop. Most people are terrible traders, let's not kid ourselves.
- Wallets: obviously I use many different crypto wallets but I donโt go out of my way to farm them. Swaps and bridging in-wallet are usually significantly more expensive and probably not worth the $ spent.
- NFT exchanges: Iโll use them if I want to actually trade something but so many people got burned farming Tensor, Blur, Magic Eden etc. that these airdrops have to be MASSIVE just to make up for trading losses. Too risky IMO.

A DeFi resurgence is coming.
Here are 5 meta's you should be following closely.
1. "Just use @aave"
With rates set to fall, investors will look to once again access the onchain base interest rate of the economy. Aave is DeFi's liquidity sink with the best risk-adjusted returns, and with increasing revenue metrics from new sources such as $GHO, which is seeing continuous growth and adoption, it looks set to take center stage in DeFi's resurgence. @marczeller's simple statement has even got @realDonaldTrump using the protocol.
2. "What is dead may never die"
It happens every cycle... $ETH gets shat on, put's in lows vs $BTC, and then, all of a sudden a resurgence happens. Network effects, economic security, and liquidity are not to be overlooked. The whole layer 2 system has progressed and simplified, and the burn mechanic has yet to truly showcase itself in a DeFi run.
3. "Shiny new coin syndrome"
What will the new DeFi hub be for this next cycle? It's always worth keeping an eye on ecosystems with proven teams, unique tech, and money to spend. @0xSonicLabs comes to mind here. Also, keep an eye on narratives that exploded and have since recoiled. i.e. @CelestiaOrg and @SuiNetwork. And of course, @solana will always show its face.
4. "Rising from the DeFi ashes"
OG DeFi protocols native assets have been through the shitter recently. But, having clear smart contract lindy, and having gone through (or coming up to) upgrades and evolutions in tech while being at the long-tail of emissions is not to be overlooked. From @Uniswap, and @yearnfi to @Balancer and @CurveFinance, don't overlook the kings. New protocols will leverage/direct their liquidity assets on these platforms.
5. "Make it simple"
A new DeFi meta is emerging - Protocols abstracting away all user complexities with a single deposit solution that autonomously routes liquidity into tried and trusted yield sources. Examples include @Curvance and @TokemakXYZ.

๐ธRetail has left crypto - What does it mean?
The monthly growth (# of followers) of active content creators on CT is a good metric to measure new retail presence.
I monitor that and the average monthly growth is usually around 6% to 8%.
In the last month, the average growth has been 0.8%. A number far below anything I've seen since Jan. 2023. And engagement on CT is as low as it gets.
This is bad news. We are no longer in 2017 or 2021.
We keep talking about mass adoption as if somehow magically the entire world would suddenly become crypto addicts and buy our bags.
Now consider this:
- Trump gave a talk on a crypto conference few weeks ago.
- In Q1, with Pumpdotfun on Solana, many real world influener launched a token ( souljaboy, IGGYAZALEA, richthekid, caitlyn_jenner, etc.) and even athletes( MessuOnSol, tholanasol, conurmcgruegur, maradona). These influencers have combined many millions of non-overlapping followers.
- Countries where crypto is very popular include Nigeria, Turkey, Iran, Philippines, Venezuela, Argentina, and Vietnam
- BTC + ETH ETFs -> Institution adoption
Now, what do you think mass adoption looks like?
What should happen for us to say we have reached mass adoption?
I'd say there are different aspects of mass adoption:
1. Application level (Farcasters, Lens, Polymarket)
2. Speculation (trading)
We are still far from a mass adoption on application level and we are making progress. But I don't think we are too far away from a speculation mass adoption, considering a large portion of the world population is simply not interested in trading.
According to Finbold, as of 2024, about 6.8% of the global population are involved in cryptocurrency trading. This number might double or triple at best but not more.
So the point is I think a lot of people who might ever trade shitcoins have already done so in some form or another. And they have probably lost money. And some of them will never come back.
Sure, there are waves and retail presence comes and goes with prices.
My conclusion is pretty dramatic:
We will never experience again a bull market like 2017/2021 again. The easy days are gone.
23/24 pa proves this. Few selected alts have outperformed maybe for 2,3 weeks but that's it.
crypto trading game has changed forever. It's maybe time to admit that. Not admitting that would cost heavy on the portfolio.
Like stocks, there will be ups and downs and some tickers will do well for a certain time etc.
But with more than 100k alts in circulation (and growing) forget about the idea that any alt will pump 20x from here sometime in the next 18 months.

The modular expansion is just starting. ๐งฑโจ
A rollup-centric multi-chain future composed of 1000s of app- and vertical-specific chains is emerging.
So are we done?
According to @vitalikbuterin, not quite yet.
While modularity enables the infra for truly mass adoption ready applications, the Cambrian explosion of L2s also fragments liquidity and introduces UX friction.
Unifying all chains into one composable ecosystem where users don't have to care which chain they're on is the endgame of the modular thesis.
In various conference appearances and Twitter posts, @VitalikButerin has shared his views on how the fragmentation problem can be solved.
In the short-mid term, @VitalikButerin is a strong advocate of two ERCs that aim to simplify cross-chain interactions within the Ethereum (and L2) ecosystem.
๐ก ERC-3770:
A standard that simplifies the cross-chain transaction UX by including the chain identifier in the address, clearly indicating the blockchain a certain address is associated with.
In the web2 sense, think of this like an email address that specifies whether the host is Gmail or Protonmail. Similarly, wallet addresses should indicate the chain they belong to, so users know exactly where to send the money to.
๐ก ERC-7683:
Proposed by @Uniswap and @AcrossProtocol, this ERC introduces the concept of cross-chain intents to Ethereum.
What that means is that users specify the desired end state of a transaction (e.g., swapping tokens between chains) without worrying about the exact path of execution in between the initial state and the desired end result.
ERC-7683 also defines a standardized structure for cross-chain orders, simplifying the task for relayers (which fill orders) to understand and process these transactions.
Another hot topic in this context is the concept of "based" or L1-sequenced rollups (another Vitalik favourite).
Based rollups enable shared sequencing on the L1 level, which can solve fragmentation within the ecosystem and enable cross-rollup composability.
However, relying on Ethereum's finality times adversely impacts UX on L2s.
To solve this, there are two options:
โฆ Fast blocks on L1 and no pre-confs
โฆ Slow blocks on L1 and fast pre-confs
Today, Ethereum has slow block times.
Hence, infrastructure projects like shared sequencers and fast finality layers (both in some cases built on @eigencloud) have emerged to provide crypto-economically secured pre-confirmations across chains.
@AstriaOrg is an example of a specialized sequencing layer designed to support based rollups. It features fast block times and single slot finality to abstract the need for pre-confirmations.
While these approaches are promising, they will lead to the emergence of internally interconnected but externally isolated ecosystems of composable chains.
To fully abstract the complexity of the fragmented backend towards the end user and unify liquidity across ALL chains, the problem can be tackled on the account level.
Two major players that follow this approach are @NEARProtocol and @ParticleNtwrk.
@NEARProtocol leverages the concept of chain signatures powered by @eigencloud, which allows users to initiate transactions on their NEAR wallet that will be executed on other chains through MPC nodes.
@ParticleNtwrk on the other hand is provides universal accounts that unify the user experience across all networks with a single balance across all chains and universal gas payments.
So, is this the endgame?
Only time will tell.
According to Vitalik, there is still some infrastructure needed on the Ethereum base layer and current L2 architectures.
What I'm convinced of though, is that modularity needs chain abstraction to unleash its full potential.
How it will be technically implemented remains to be seen.
I'm sure we will see certain ecosystem-specific implementations around shared sequencers and fast finality layers.
Beyond the borders of these ecosystems, and also closer to market already however, account-level chain abstraction solutions seem very promising.

The Truth about L2 Trust Assumptions
โ
Imagine you are a DeFi user on a rollup. Your favourite app gets hacked and you are down five figures.
โ
Would you want the chain to be stopped to retrieve the funds?
โ
Imagine you hold six figures on a L2 with billions in TVL.
โ
Would you want to have a single entity in control of this financial system?
If you have never really thought about that, you are not alone.
โ
After all, your favourite L2 inherits Ethereum security anyhow, right? ... Right????
โ
Wrong anon.
โ
Yesterday's exploit of @RhoMarketsHQ on @Scroll_ZKP and the subsequent delay of the network's finalization, have once again sparked controversial discussions around rollup decentralization.
โ
The same discussions that we already had when @LineaBuild halted its chain in a similar situation a few weeks ago.
โ
That's why today, we unveil the truth about L2 trust assumptions.
We talk through L2 issues with no filter and show you who & what you actually trust.
This will be a long read, so get a coffee and get comfortable anon.
โ
Due to recent events, we will use @Scroll_ZKP as an example.
โ
Problem #1 - Multisigs in Control
โ
Scroll consists of a set of smart contracts on Ethereum.
โ
This includes the ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ contract, which is the main contract of the rollup. It allows to post transaction data and state roots, alongside corresponding validity proofs.
โ
There is also a bunch of other contracts, including proof verifiers or bridge and messaging contracts.
The core contracts are upgradeable through the Scroll multisigยน, which is a @Safe with a 4/5 threshold.
โ
ยน ) 0xEfc9D1096fb65c832207E5e7F13C2D1102244dbe
โ
The multisig, a.k.a. security council can upgrade proxies and the verifier without delay and propose transactions within certain timelocks.
โ
It can also revert non finalized batches, remove sequencers and provers and pause contracts.
โ
The multisig signers are:
โ
0xFCf6364F5157901f533DD3615A5d8c375F13c072
0xE2e6345baAD18f779167443Dc4886495507b3249
0xEbbeeAA424AE904508465a41c927Be594C43Dc68
0xfc31892C5500AbE00974280b28907BaA9190E384
0x9337B41709c1C2B938Cb460ea3fA9DB586B172E0
โ
Why does upgradeability matter?
โ
Because a malicious upgrade to the rollup contracts could make you lose all your funds anon.
โ
Timelocks that enforce delay periods can mitigate this problem to at least some degree.
โ
If it's a 7 day delay and you're on vacation for two weeks, it won't help you much though.
โ
What makes matters worse, is that many rollups don't have delay periods at all.
โ
In the case of @Scroll_ZKP for example, there is no window for users to exit in case of an unwanted regular upgrade since some of the contracts are instantly upgradable (see above).
โ
For certain other types of upgrades, timelocks are implemented though.
โ
Nontheless, this design gives the Scroll multisig, a.k.a team a high degree of control over the network.
โ
Note: The situation with other rollups looks just like this, it's not a Scroll-specific issue.
โ
Problem #2 - Trust the Sequencer (and the Prover)
โ
To make matters worse though, @Scroll_ZKP is running on a centralized sequencer.
โ
What is the sequencer?
โ
The sequencer is the only entity in the system that can propose blocks.
Having a live and trustworthy sequencer is crucial to the functioning of any rollup.
โ
Today, all major rollups rely on centralized sequencers though. Aside @Scroll_ZKP, this also includes OP stack chains such as @Optimism mainnet, @base or @0xMantle, as well as chains like @arbitrum or @zksync and @LineaBuild.
โ
This design choice is made deliberately in a trade-off between decentralization and scalability/UX.
โ
By receiving and ordering transactions that are later submitted to the L1, the sequencer provides users with what is known as a fast pre-confirmation.
โ
These pre-confirmations (a.k.a. promises of a transaction later being included in a L1 block), enable the seamless UX we have grown used to on L2s.
โ
However, a centralized sequencer that exploits their centralized position and frontruns user transactions, can pose a significant risk to the health of an ecosystem.
โ
Aside MEV extraction risks, a centralized sequencer introduces liveness and single-point-of failure risks and raises questions with regards to censorship resistance.
โ
While some rollups have mechanisms that allow users to force transaction inclusion, @Scroll_ZKP (among others) currently lacks this feature.
โ
Consequently, users can be censored if the operator refuses to include their transactions, which could result in funds being frozen.
โ
An often overlooked component of the system is the proving layer, that generates the cryptographic validity proofs that are posted to L1 alongside the rollup data blobs.
โ
What few know, is that reliance on a centralized prover that runs a singular proof system comes with considerable risk. If the cryptography is broken or implemented incorrectly, funds can be stolen.
โ
Note: Scroll is working to decentralize both the sequencer and the prover down the line.
โ
Problem #3.1 - Decentralization is a Journey
โ
So is Scroll "bad tech"?
โ
No anon.
โ
Actually the opposite. We're bullish @Scroll_ZKP.
โ
However, the road to decentralization for rollups is a progressive process.
โ
Rollups are complex systems with multiple components on various layers that each introduce trust assumptions that have to be optimized.
โ
To understand what we mean, let's look at rollups from a more functional perspective than before.
โ
Again, we take @Scroll_ZKP as an example.
โ
Scroll's high level architecture consists of:
โ
โฆ Sequencing layer (operator that receives and orders transactions, proposing blobs to L1)
โฆ Execution layer (the Scroll rollup, defined by the contracts on L1)
โฆ Proving layer (proving system that creates the execution proofs that are submitted to L1 alongside data blobs)
โฆ Settlement layer (Ethereum, where the contracts sit and proofs are verified)
โฆ DA layer (Ethereum, or rather EIP4844 blobs where rollup data is published to)
โ
Is it realistic that a rollup launches with immutable contracts, based sequencing and a decentralized prover?
โ
No.
โ
We have to keep in mind that the first rollup (Arbitrum) just went live three years ago.
โ
This is very nascent technology and teams working on rollups with ambitious plans to decentralize all these different layers of the stack are pioneering the frontier of innovation.
โ
Due to the complexity of these systems, some degree of control that allows the teams to remain flexible and sequentially build out their vision is a mere necessity.
โ
Just like an initially centralized sequencer and prover to not introduce too much complexity to the system in early stages.
โ
Nevertheless, the end goal has to be to build a fully decentralized and secure network.
โ
@Scroll_ZKP just launched mainnet a few months ago. Its in the early stages of a progressive process towards decentralization. More is yet to come and the same goes for most of these L2s.
โ
With a maturing ecosystem of modular infra building blocks, which includes crypto-economically secured and decentralized, shared sequencing and proving layers and more, decentralizing L2s will become easier as well.
โ
While many L2s are building towards decentralized sequencing & proving solutions of their own, especially the long tail of rollups will benefit significantly from this modular, plug-and-play infrastructure.
โ
Out of the box decentralization, pooled crypto-economic security and specialized technology.
โ
The future looks bright.
โ
Problem #3.2 - But no one knows
โ
The fact that decentralization is a journey is actually not a problem itself.
โ
What makes it a problem, is that often the marketing of all these L2s in the market suggests that the user is interacting with "decentralized" systems.
โ
Many users really believe they are "inheriting security from Ethereum".
โ
They are not. At least not today.
โ
As we have seen in this post, with the current "training wheels", rollups are all but decentralized today.
โ
What is important to point out here again though, is that by no means we want to bash @Scroll_ZKP as a "bad example".
โ
What we are talking about is simply the reality in the L2 market today.
Final Thoughts
As an industry, we will continue to innovate and build.
โ
One day, we will have solved all these issues and rollups will be fully decentralized systems.
โ
However, we should strive to be transparent about the trust assumptions that exist in the meantime.
โ
Imagine you are a DeFi user on a rollup. Your favourite app gets hacked and you are down five figures.
โ
Would you want the chain to be stopped to retrieve the funds?
โ
Imagine you hold six figures on a L2 with billions in TVL.
โ
Would you want to have a single entity in control of this 'financial system'?
โ
The reality is, rollups aren't real (yet) and most people are not aware of this reality
