This makes me so mad.
No show did more to spread Covid terror, encourage nonsensical lockdowns and push a jab people didn’t need than Good Morning Britain.
And now you say “we failed” our children?
You did.
We warned you.
But you became propagandists not journalists.
Shame.
'Looking back I think we failed our children during the pandemic.' @susannareid100
School closures during the pandemic mean poorer GCSE results for pupils in England well into the 2030s.

....the saddest of goodbyes to George...a great broadcaster, kind colleague, thoughtful journalist and a wonderful person with such a warm smile and lovely laugh...he inspired so many...and fought until the very end... #GeorgeAlagiah
It is with deep sadness that the BBC is announcing the death of its much-loved journalist and presenter George Alagiah.

We are thinking of his family at this time. “George was one of the best and bravest journalists of his generation who reported fearlessly from across the world as well as presenting the news flawlessly. “He was more than just an outstanding journalist, audiences could sense his kindness, empathy and wonderful humanity. He was loved by all and we will miss him enormously." Tim Davie BBC Director-General"

Thanks, but I haven’t been correct about lockdown since Day 1.
Correct since late spring 2020 when the huge over-reaction and its likely costs were apparent.
But Covid killed journalism.
All those questions that went unasked.
A shocking stain on my trade.
Replying to @Paul_lovmarina @AllisonPearson
Quite the reverse actually. Allison has been correct since day 1. The more information that is revealed, the more obvious this fact becomes. We always knew it, but surely, it must now be becoming obvious to the majority.

Every week now, some fresh “revelation”
a small few of us were pointing out in spring 2020.
Covid came from lab leak?
Likely.
Matt Hancock a charlatan.
Obvs.
Yet so many who lied to the public have been ennobled or promoted.

Well France is getting plenty of local, Spanish and Moroccan tomatoes.
Beautiful choice too… Free marketeers love choice.
Nailed it!

Swap 'vaccinated' for black, Jewish, female, gay, Muslim, Catholic, Indian, Chinese. Whatever. Just look at this hate.
The jabs did nothing to stop transmission. Some of us knew at the time that the Pfizer trials were never designed to show that they did.

I don’t think we give enough credit to Princess Anne. She’s one of our hardest working Royals, always shows such a sense of duty, loyalty and never ever complains. A class act #respect #princessroyal

Ignore the guff about French staffing problems, it's a diversion tactic.

So today is my daughter's 13th birthday. She has some special needs and struggles making friends and social interactions, so far none of them have RSVPd for her birthday party. Could I ask for some #Happybirthday messages and where you're from?

A tiny story. I've met Johnson twice, the 1st time in 1999. Bunch of hacks grabbed lunch at Tory party conference in Bournemouth. The 2nd time was a decade later on the One Show Sofa. He recalled exactly where and when we met. Whatever he claims he has a seriously good memory.

Good to see the ‘human rights lawyers’ are back. They were nowhere to be seen in nearly two years of national lockdowns, travel bans and other authoritarian measures.
