Pakistani-born Arnold Javaid, now Korean, has become a petty officer 1st class in the ROK Navy. He arrived in S. Korea aged 3 with family, aspired to join military, naturalised in 2018. Law prevented him, but with a recent legal revision was finally able to fulfil dream.

I really think this narrative that Biden has finally "wrangled" South Korea and Japan misses the mark. Yoon has been very far forward on rapprochement with Japan, which has enabled both bilateral and trilateral cooperation to take hold.

In a YTN interview with Margot Robbie on 'Barbie', she says that feminism is "completely in the DNA" of the film, and describes it as a "humanist movie". However, the Korean subs and headline suggest that the film is "beyond feminism" and characterised as a "humanist movie."
