We have big news! Since the January 2020 bail reforms, we have mostly not needed to pay $1 bails. Because this need no longer exists, we’d like to announce our plan to sunset our project. Read our statement on our closure as a bail-paying group and the next steps for DBB.
$1 bails have been rising again in NYC. DBB is now looking for someone to help coordinate volunteers & bail requests (tasks: helping monitor AND send emails). Please DM us or email [email protected] with interest
