Katy Bellmead wrecker update. Rigging done. Hooks and blocks are scratchbuilt as are replacement sheaves, flywheel, etc. Roof, walls, coal chute, lights, tanks, stack, details, decals left. Due to its age (likely 70-80 years) the boom & hooks are not operable. #TMRGUSA 🤠 🇺🇲

Choo choo, the train is moving! 🚂 As part of our landscaping project, we’re moving the CN 6200 locomotive several metres to the north. This temporary move, done with the @BytownRSociety will allow for a replacement of the pad, which has become slanted over the years.

Front end Friday! CPR Jubilee #3000 in charge of The Bullet, train #629 to and from London! These locomotives were capable of 112.5 mph, also had good acceleration & deceleration. Great engines! @nmraonline

UP MP15 switcher 1801 picks up a grain car and spots it next to the grain silo to be filled. FRA rules require the bell to be rung continuously when moving in places where there may be people around.

I've awarded myself a much needed day off work today and plan to spend it at the modelling bench. So far I've wasted half an hour trying to decide whether to weather the boxcar, work on the loco conversion, build the shed or work on the layout. Still no plan 🙄 #TMRGUK #TMRGUSA
