Just listened to @lewishowes interviewing @terrencej Fantastic interview. My gosh Lewis, your way of questioning is great. How do you prepare your questions for your guest? instagram.com/p/CJI8r5DrcT0/…

You see in the #MLK days white people worked in the background trying to help and be ally’s, now they tweet and blog but many don’t actually do anything this is called white saviour not white ally and a white saviour had learnt it’s important to say the right thing.

I would rather see every CEO and Chair and ICS SRO to commit to 10 things they will address to reduce structural, institutional and interpersonal racism in the next 12 months. We need people to actually make Black Lives Matter and not just tweet it. #BlackNHSLivesMatter

The problem with the issue so far is the rush to platitude over action. It’s easy to take the knee, do a blog on #BLM but then not risk assess all your BAME staff at risk of covid-19 BAME disparity. Personally I would rather see ....

It’s all a balancing act... the QA team having their weekly ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ fun by ending the day with a balancing class hosted by Selina. @SarahStillers took the trophy with a 5mins 7 secs win #wellbeingwednesday

MAKE THEM FEEL THE LOVE ❤️
There are many reasons why loved ones can’t be visited in Hospital.
Be more creative in what you allow to make them feel loved, connected and comforted.
Here’s my new #sketchnote on keeping in touch.

It was great to have @NavinaEvans attend the @NorthHackney FACT meeting today to see how we apply a shared team approach to the community we serve. She began by letting us know she is there for us in the current climate. Also a warm welcome to Saima our new apprentice.

@NHS_ELFT Executive team wanted to acknowledge the feelings of loss and hurt. We wanted to recognise the solidarity shown by non-BAME colleagues. We wanted to share a message of unity and hope and express a determination to come together to bring about change.
In honour of you and your life during #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. RIEP RJ
