Thailandβs national budget = 3.8 trillion baht (Php 7.2 trillion).
Philippines national budget = Php 7.2 trillion.
One just announced an equivalent Php 100k subsidy for 1,000,000 households to install solar. Total value: Php 100 billion.
The other just announced a record Php 1 TRILLION in budget insertions, leaving the door wide open to the same practices that gave us the Flood Control Scandal and Ghost Projects Scandal.

Not only is the cost of residential electricity in Thailand just 4 baht (Php 8) per kWh, or HALF the rate in the Philippines, but their government is promoting use of solar with a 50k baht (Php 100k) subsidy per household, making electricity even MORE AFFORDABLE for its citizens. And they are doing it for at least ONE MILLION households.

Criticized him a lot back then. But after his term, i realized kung gaano ka-better ang ekonomiya nung time niya. Tayo pa nagpapautang sa ibang bansa non e.
He showed up, no wheelchair, no neck brace, looked sick yet came prepared.
He showed us that good governance is possible and how it can make a real difference in peopleβs lives.
thank god theyre re-releasing Dune: Part One in IMAX. thatβs the 1st movie I got to watch in the cinemas during the pandemic. but sadly walang open na imax back then
