Ours is a labor of love at @circle and I truly love what we do and why we do it. Because nothing worth doing is worth doing alone, we are proud to contribute to more inclusive financial access around the world with $USDC.
For the first time in history, we can activate the full economic potential of humanity thanks to digital dollars like $USDC. See how USDC might be the secret to financial inclusion.

Financial crime moves at machine speed. Collective defense must do the same. The @binance incident underscores the need for real-time coordination, legal clarity, and due process. Open systems require open coordination. My latest reflections: circle.com/blog/the-binance-…

I shared my perspective on what the midterm electoral outcome means for crypto with @CNBC's @tanayamacheel. “With this midterm election result, folks need to see that they have some equity in this process, that they have their interests represented in this process, and therefore it may take longer to get Clarity tabled again,” he said. “But I wouldn’t characterize it as bad – that’s been frankly too reflexive a response from industry and from other players … Crypto is purple.” He also pointed to the Genius Act, the “roundly bipartisan” stablecoin legislation passed into law last year and set to take effect in January. The law is a significant policy advancement, he said, “that [the Democrats] will feel 1, ownership over and 2, recognition of, considering so many of them have been in the crucible of public policy debates on what good looks like.” cnbc.com/2026/11/05/crypto-m…

Digital assets are becoming financial infrastructure. Regulation must evolve with them. Proud to serve on the Steering Committee for this new @wef report examining 35 jurisdictions. We may not have regulatory convergence, but we do have compatibility.
As #digital assets become part of financial infrastructure, how should regulation keep pace? A new report from the @wef and @BCG offers a playbook to help policy-makers assess risks and set priorities. Learn more: weforum.org/publications/reg…

I call these Stradivarius supply chains - priceless, fragile and tightly strung. diplomaticourier.com/posts/s…
Global supply chains can be efficient – and fragile. When critical inputs are concentrated and hard to replace, small disruptions can create major chokepoints. Read the #BISBulletin to see why resilience starts with identifying the risk. bit.ly/4kh6UAE

Congratulations @kevinweil and team. Hard not to see what you are doing, how you are doing it, and with whom and not be anything but optimistic.
💥 Introducing Warp Sciences, a new company applying AI and robotics to help the world develop new medicines faster. We’ve raised a $215M Series A led by @lightspeedvp to bring frontier AI out of the browser and into the lab, and build scientific capacity here in America. I co-founded Warp with my long-time friend @dpatil, FAIR co-founder @manohar_paluri, and drug hunter Sol Reisberg. The early team is full of incredible people like @bkspears9, who helped achieve Q>1 fusion at LLNL.

We welcome the OCC’s final rules implementing the GENIUS Act - an important milestone in translating America’s leadership on stablecoin legislation into clear, durable regulatory standards. Regulatory clarity, strong consumer protections, and responsible innovation are not competing priorities. Together, they are the foundation for a trusted, competitive, and globally relevant U.S. financial system. The future of money is being built on sound rules.
.@USComptroller Jonathan V. Gould: Today’s final rule advances @POTUS Trump’s and @SecScottBessent’s vision for American leadership in digital assets. We are providing a clear, practical framework for payment stablecoin innovation, with strong standards for reserve backing, redemption, and risk management. The OCC is drawing on its longstanding supervisory expertise to support responsible growth and innovation for this new industry. occ.gov/news-issuances/news-…

Wrapping up a productive week at the @IMFNews and @WorldBankGroup Annual Meetings in Bangkok, where conversations underscored a common imperative: translating economic resilience into inclusive growth. From global financial stability and trade fragmentation to the future of money, one theme stood out: innovation, trusted institutions and international cooperation must reinforce one another. Grateful for thoughtful bilateral exchanges, including with @wto Director General @NOIweala on the vital intersection of trade, finance and economic opportunity. As digital assets, stablecoins and modern payment infrastructure increasingly connect the global economy, the opportunity is to build bridges (not barriers) to greater financial access and prosperity. The work continues @jerallaire.

🤖Who should bear responsibility when AI agents cause harm? “If you let your dog out and it bites your neighbor, you have a vicarious liability,” says @circle’s @ddisparte, arguing that similar liability principles should apply to AI agents. 🔗 youtube.com/watch?v=T9XUAEgt…

It is always a pleasure meeting with you @NOIweala. The @wto’s recent report on the promise and potential perils of stablecoins entering the stream of global commerce was one of the most pragmatic yet.
Discussing cross-border payments and the opportunities and challenges of Stablecoins with the Chief Strategy Officer of @circle, Dante Disparte @ddisparte.

Sharing my agentic finance PSA, broadcasting live from the @IMFNews and @WorldBankGroup meetings in Thailand. The @ACGeoEcon broadcasting studio is a veritable center stage for the people and topics shaping conversations in Bangkok.
What safeguards does agentic finance need? At our #IMFWBAM26 studio, @circle’s @ddisparte outlines two: 1. The “know your agent” conversation can’t be ignored 2. Companies calling for regulation should start by regulating themselves Watch the full event ⬇️ youtube.com/watch?v=T9XUAEgt…

Dollar rivals could still catch up by embracing innovations. Our recent Jackson-hole paper now available through @nberpubs
The dollar remains dominant, with the euro and renminbi stuck in a fragmented second tier. Innovations like dollar-backed stablecoins could entrench that dominance further. Rivals could still catch up by embracing innovation, though a multipolar system might prove more fragile in a crisis, from @gordonliao, @EswarSPrasad, and Tony Zhang nber.org/papers/w35822

🇪🇺 We submitted feedback to the European Commission's MiCA Review Consultation As the largest MiCA-regulated e-money token (EMT) issuer for both the dollar (@USDC) and the euro (EURC), and having been the first major global issuer to comply back in July 2024, @circle knows first-hand what's working under MiCA and what still needs adjustment. MiCA has produced ~40 regulated EMTs over the last 2 years, more than any comparable framework has in the world. Both traditional banks and fintechs are entering the space, which is great. But looking at the largest stablecoins in the world by market cap, only 3 of the top 30 are MiCA-compliant today, and 2 of those are Circle's. MiCA has not yet managed to capture most of global stablecoin supply, a gap worth closing, preferably via an equivalence & recognition regime for foreign stablecoins aligned with the GENIUS Act, powering transatlantic reciprocity. We also agree with the ECB on the mandatory 30/60% deposit minimum in EMT reserves. It is too rigid and should be replaced by a more flexible liquidity requirement taking into consideration the liquidity profile of the HQLAs. You can find a few highlights of our response in the blog post in the comments. The EU is already a regulatory leader, now it's time to build market leadership as well!

Circle has submitted its response to the European Commission’s MiCA Review Consultation. Our feedback draws on two years of experience operating USDC and EURC under MiCA, with a focus on strengthening Europe’s role as a dynamic, liquid stablecoin market. In the response, we address: → Multi-issuance for global stablecoin liquidity → Longer-term equivalence and recognition for foreign stablecoins → Reserve requirements focused on safety and liquidity circle.com/blog/circles-resp…

The infrastructure conversation at @Sibos has evolved. Digital dollars are now featured in the main sessions. The question now is architecture: Who builds the rails, under what rules, for which markets? My first session, "Can TradFi fix the experience before DeFi wins the race?" kept returning to interoperability. My provocation: what users ultimately value is optionality.
