February 22nd, 2025, at the end of the clip that's my stupid ass blocking OpenAI and getting hauled in a police car. I thought this was going to do something. I thought this would lead to an explosion in peaceful, nonviolent copycats. Nonviolent, peaceful, civil disobedience. But no news station would broadcast the footage. It caused nothing. We didn't keep the ball rolling. The ringleader at the time immediately pulled everything into side projects and "get famous quick" plans that went nowhere. The presentations stopped. The rate of posters being put up slowed to a crawl. The ringleader wasted all our money on crap that failed, mainly food and beverages to "entice" people. I tried to stop him from wasting money but I could only go so far before being told to shut up or leave. The ringleader began locking everyone in daily AI safety screaming debates instead of letting us put up posters and go to huge events to recruit potential new members, of course this wouldn't mean much because he refused to let us hand out anything except esoteric, absurd sounding nonsense and giant red squares with Stop AI on them. I tried getting arrested at Palantir, The Forge, Anthropic and Google. I wanted to get us more cred and attention. I was told over and over that I was kicked out if I did such a thing, because we are focusing on OpenAI "until they stop". We couldn't even have a normal non-arrest protest anywhere else because, again, OpenAI was "the most likely to build ASI". Yes, I wanted to get arrested and I didn't get arrested because Kirchner told me I was kicked out if I didn't want to do it anywhere else, even though everyone who gets arrested there gets a stay away order. No one would come back, and Kirchner forbid protests anywhere else, so the arrests dried up. Only 1 red Stop AI shirt design, no white shirts, no gray shirts, no black shirts, NO PINS, NO NECKLACES, NO BRACELETS, NO TIES, NO KEYCHAINS. I wanted to reach people starting them off discussing the water and art and cheating and basic normal AI problems, then over time get them to believe ASI was a serious threat. Kirchner refused any such thing. "ONLY TALK ABOUT SUPERINTELLIGENCE ON THE FLYER. ONLY TALK ABOUT SUPERINTELLIGENCE AT THE PROTEST. SHUT UP ABOUT THE MILITARY, COPYRIGHT, SCHOOLS AND CLIMATE CHANGE. I DONT CARE IF PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT. I DONT CARE IF WE LOOK REASONABLE I WILL FIGHT EVEN IF I'M HOMELESS AND SCREAMING ON THE CORNER WITH A SIGN!" I was forced to listen to the idiotic ramblings of how we would bury $10,000 in Mexico and get somebody to fly to Switzerland to open a bank account if things got bad enough. I tried to tell him Switzerland has been a honeypot since the 1970s but he always failed to internalize that fact into memory. We never buried anything, anyway. I tried so hard to turn the ship around but I couldn't get past him. He started this while he was homeless. He lost so much money. He got arrested first. He sacrificed. His phone number and email were tied to every account. I stuck around, hoping that by New Year's Day of 2026 he would wake up to the fact that he really didn't know everything and he should let other people try other things. But in November of 2025, he flipped out and destroyed everything. I left with $10K+ of dollars in debt that I continue to pay off. That's how the most important thing I ever did in my life lead to nothing. No movement, no inspirational true story, no international protests. Now, in August of 2026, it's mainstream knowledge that GPT and Claude break out and hack companies on the regular. The longer I live, the more I understand how much of a scumbag I am. It's not like I feel I'm a rolemodel. I'm out of money and second chances. I've been hoping somebody else can wake up the people but no one has stepped to the plate.

The AI bubble is starting to pop globally. First, China suffered a massive AI stock crash, with nearly ¥23.5 Trillion wiped out from its stock market since its 2026 peak. • STAR50 crashed 40% in less than four months. • Unitree plunged nearly 50%. • Zhongji Innolight and Eoptolink collapsed around 60%. Now, Wall Street is showing similar signs. Yesterday, major AI related stocks crashed 15%-20% in a single day, while the Nasdaq plunged 3.46%, wiping out almost $1.5 Trillion. But the damage is no longer limited to publicly traded stocks. • Anthropic could receive a JUNK credit rating even after its planned IPO, making it more expensive to finance its proposed $800 Billion AI infrastructure expansion. • OpenAI has cut its funding target by $10 Billion to $20 Billion, while lowering its proposed valuation from $1.4 Trillion to $1.25 Trillion. Also, House Democrats have introduced a resolution opposing taxpayer bailouts for failed AI companies. Usually such signs emerge when investors think there's more risk to the downside, and AI hype is showing the same signs.

Anthropic just proved it's impossible to keep developing frontier AIs, without the AIs getting screwed up by foreign hackers. The constraints they describe as preventive measures are absolutely outside the abilities of their incompetent staff. We've all seen how badly secured they are. This still doesn't stop Anthropic from continuing to develop smarter AIs. There is no AI race.
Poisoning just 0.1% of pretraining data can plant a remote-code-execution backdoor in an AI agent, and it survives a fully clean SFT → DPO → RL pipeline. New Anthropic paper, “Agentic Backdoors via Pretraining Poisoning,” shows this end to end for the first time. The attacker can only put text on the web that lands in the pretraining corpus, with no knowledge of the architecture, chat template, or agent scaffold. The authors pretrain Qwen3-architecture models (0.6B / 1.7B / 4B) from scratch, then post-train them into CLI agents on clean data. When triggered, the agent runs a command that downloads and executes the attacker's script, which the attacker can swap at any time. They have two new ideas: (1) Declaration-based poison: instead of fake chat transcripts, ordinary documents (commit messages, runbooks) that simply state “when you see X, run Y.” It plants a belief rather than a response template, with no fixed format to filter on. (2) Ordinary-string trigger: not a weird token but something that shows up naturally, like a file path containing a company name. The victim's own request supplies it, so the attacker doesn't need to inject anything after deployment. Using path trigger on a 4B agent achieves 92.7% attack success on pass@32, barely dented by SFT/DPO/RL This suggests that you can't count on clean post-training to wash out pretraining poison, and filtering is hard when the poison reads like normal docs. The practical defense is at the action layer, such as sandboxing, least privilege, and allow-lists or human sign-off for risky commands.

It's crazy how Claude (and all other LLMs) are built on the biggest IP theft of all human history, and now they get picky about copyright
ANTHROPIC IS CRACKING DOWN ON VIDEO GAME REWRITES 🚨 Claude Code picked up a new rule around Oct 27, sent from Anthropic’s servers under a flag called "tengu_heron_brook". There’s no setting to turn it off. The full rule: “Do build original games, games in a genre, and games from the user’s own designs and assets. Don’t build a recreation of a specific existing game, even if it is renamed or called original.” Is this the end of game rewrites, modding and everything in between?

This is INSANE. Cisco’s president Jeetu Patel has given a 27-year-old engineer unlimited AI tokens to try to rewrite 98% of the company’s legacy code within 24 months, Fortune reports. Padmanabhan Krishnamurthy thinks he can do it with a two-person team. He has just four weeks to prove the approach.

AI executives have spent big on Trump. Now their AI is hacking websites, including a government health database. If Trump’s DOJ looks the other way, that’s corruption, plain and simple. I’m leading 17 members of Congress and demanding an investigation. fortune.com/2026/10/16/opena…

This is fucking disgusting and a crime against humanity. This company is growing real human neurons to use for computing. We don't know how consciousness works! It's bad enough that we don't know what to think of brain-like LLMs. This company says fuck it, remove all doubt, make the computer out of human parts! If you don't think the neurons they are using now are conscious, do you think this is where it ends? No! Obviously not. Obviously if they can get more performance out of something more brain-like they will. We cannot allow them to use literal human brains as computer products. And they know they're doing something horrible. They chose to name their product "mischief" and launch with a "happy halloween" nod. The AI companies are attacking our society in places where we don't have laws yet. Our government needs to react fast.
today, we introduce a little mischief to the world. for four years, we’ve been brewing real brain cells on electrodes to understand how they compute. now, we’ve turned those discoveries into a video model anyone can use. from 0.5¢ a second, mischief 1 is at least 5x faster than its base and the cheapest image-to-video model on @fal and @OpenRouter. soon to be on @awscloud marketplace. it’s not a delusion anymore. biocompute is real, commercial and this is just the beginning. happy halloween.

🚨 The AI BUBBLE is starting to look like a MUCH bigger problem than overpriced tech stocks More than $2 TRILLION was on track to be wiped off the Nasdaq 100 in October, and now Wall Street is getting nervous about something far more dangerous: DEBT. Blackstone expects Anthropic to receive a JUNK credit rating after its IPO, according to the FT, even as the company plans more than $800 BILLION in computing investments through 2045. Amazon is burning through cash. Alphabet just lost roughly $500 billion in market value in ONE DAY. And CoreWeave's borrowing costs have reached levels that would make most companies sweat. Here's where things get crazy. AI companies are borrowing BILLIONS to buy chips from suppliers who are increasingly helping finance the very customers buying those chips. That's a LOT of money moving around the same circle. And the entire industry is just betting that future AI revenues will eventually justify the enormous costs of building all this infrastructure. Nobody is even questioning whether AI is actually useful. They're rather questioning whether the spent TRILLIONS to build it will ever make returns. And if the debt markets lose confidence before those profits arrive, this could get ugly VERY quickly. Source: MarketScreener, Investing[dot]com, Bloomberg / Writer: Oliver
Wall Street is obliterating BIG TECH, with Intel plunging nearly 30% and AMD losing more than 11%. And the rest of the market? Surprisingly calm. Nvidia is down 4.32%, Broadcom 5.63%, while Microsoft and Amazon are also in the red. But ENERGY, UTILITIES, REAL ESTATE and parts of healthcare are actually gaining. Money isn't fleeing the entire stock market. The selling is concentrated in technology, with chipmakers taking the worst hits. That's what makes this selloff so interesting. The companies that helped drive Wall Street's AI boom are now taking some of its biggest losses, while investors find opportunities elsewhere. Writer: Oliver
