PSA: Still photos are unpersuasive when trying to make your case whether actions by players have materially restricted/affected/hindered an opponent or not.
It demonstrates a fundamental lack of understanding of how the game is played and officiated.

The contact by the BYU defender was defensive pass interference.

Mike Norvell says this is the second straight year FSU has lost a game on a late call with this officiating crew.
Said he thought the Duce pass should have been a TD because of simultaneous possession.
Also didn’t like the holding call on play before:

Astonishing holding call. I know @geoffschwartz is beside himself at that call. That’s a standard OT play. OT was in advantageous position and just put the DL on the ground.
Then no joint possession on final play despite freeze frame showing Duce Robinson’s gloves on the ball
