Microsoft began proceedings to lay off 60,000 workers and then held a meeting talking about how they were going to import more H1B’s.

The employee who leaked this clip of the meeting to me was one of many who have expressed concerns to me. Multiple Microsoft employees have told me they feel as though MSFT doesn’t give them the same amount of respect and care.
Many Microsoft employees are asking why H-1B workers aren’t the first to be cut during a downsize since MSFT claims none of the downsizing is performance based.
Employees are curious why American workers aren’t being put first in the United States.

Just out of curiosity, because an immigration deal, right after you imply we don't have to deport everyone, kinda just sounds like amnesty.
