What an amazing charity tournament and a fantastic turnout for David Posnack JCC鈥檚 charity tourney last night at Hardrock Hollywood for kids with special needs and elderly along with Scott Ehrlich, Jeff Sopshin and Randy Paul as their leaders. Thanks to all my friends, business / client partners for showing up and making this charity tournament so successful for them馃檹馃徏
Congrats to Jason B. Blank for his winning it in the end with a super nice trophy 馃弳 and the first prize. Jeremy was second and Matthew Zarcadoolas took third. Well done folks. Well done to all the winners and everyone who came out to support this wonderful cause! 馃憦馃帀馃檶

I had already shared this with the JCC directors and management from start, but I wanted to make my pledge public as well.
Whatever I win at this charity poker tournament on October 22 evening, I will donate 100% of my winnings back to the JCC to support children with special needs and the elderly. If I win $10,000 for first place, the entire amount will go back to this amazing cause. It is wonderful to see everyone coming together to support such a meaningful mission. After taking an amazing tour of the JCC facility and meeting the children, elderly, instructors, and caregivers, I saw firsthand the incredible work being done. It truly touched my heart. For me, charity starts with paying my own buy in and giving back 100% of my winnings馃檹馃徏
Looking forward to seeing everyone there! Please share this with your friends, contacts, and other groups to help spread the word. Thank you all for your support (it鈥檚 all about this amazing charity and zero about me personally). Thanks 馃檹馃徏馃挋鉂わ笍馃檹馃徏

I recently had the invite and opportunity to visit the David Posnack JCC here in South Florida and spend some time with Scott, Jeff and Randy. Meeting was planned for an hour but we talked for almost 3 hours and they also gave me a tour of the JCC facility. Honestly, my heart was really touched by what I saw.
The JCC is helping so many people from different backgrounds who are in need. One thing that really stood out to me was seeing kids with special needs learning cooking, catering and other important life skills. They are also helping prepare meals that are served to their community鈥檚 senior citizens and elderly people. To me, that is such a beautiful thing. The kids are learning new skills and gaining confidence, while at the same time helping people who need a warm meal and some support. Kind of killing two birds with one stone, or better said, solving two problems with one strategy. I have supported the JCC and their charity efforts since 2012 and even won their charity tournament (attached picture and a nice trophy 馃弳 they offer for this), and after seeing their work firsthand, I felt even more strongly about supporting them.
I am definitely not a professional poker player or a celebrity. 馃檪 I just genuinely love supporting charities and good causes whenever I can as a local businessman and a recreational tournament Poker player. The JCC invited me to be one of their hosts for this year鈥檚 charity poker event. They were kind enough to offer to cover the host鈥檚 buy in, but I told them I would be more than happy to cover my own buy-in so that we can hopefully raise even more money for this amazing cause 馃馃挴. Really grateful to the JCC team for everything they are doing馃檹馃徏
So I am looking forward to seeing all my friends there. Come out, play some poker, have some fun and most importantly, help support a great cause.
