The Disability Working Group of the Democratic Socialists of America condemn the callous gutting and poor response to the outbreak of H5N1 and its variants by our government during this critical moment.
We stand in solidarity with farm workers, many of whom are undocumented, who risk incarceration, including within the notorious torture facility of Guantanamo Bay, and their very lives to bring food to our tables everyday.
We mourn the lives that are lost every time an insurance company denies care to give their CEO a bonus. UnitedHealthCare uses an an AI that was wrong 90% of the time. Every death caused by UHC's greed should be front page news. Medicare 4 All now.

Just interviewed Fadi Deeb, the only Palestinian Olympian from Gaza as well as the only Palestinian Paralympian. An incredibly kind, incredibly resilient human being. Thank you to @leylahamed for the introduction.
We support the passage of "Make DSA an Anti-Zionist Organization in Principle and Praxis" before the NPC today.
