What I think the main issue is… and this was highlighted by the Coral thing… Is I don’t think they need to be so precious about the rate when it comes to OG’s who have taken a decade and a half off the show. If we are talking about a first, second or third season rookie off of Love Island fine…Pay them like a newbie. But if someone like Coral, Landon whomever has only done a handful of seasons BECAUSE they’ve been gone for so long and that’s WHY they’d be MORE valuable… That’s when they need to learn to negotiate or be flexible. At least once. Don’t penalize someone from moving on in life. Work harder to get them for the return because of it. That’s what I think is absolutely bat shit backwards thinking. And crazy cause it’s from the same company that pays their “celeb-reality” talent handsomely on other shows and even pays their long standing returnees well on THIS show. Rule should be…if the person WOULD be on season 15 if they decided to stick with it, pay them like it is to get them back for one. If it doesn’t move the needle, experiment failed and don’t use them again. But at least TRY.
