This Sunday at 7pm, @BBCRadio3 broadcasts Leon Bosch, the Double Bass and the Children of Soweto.
It marks the 50th anniversary of the Soweto Uprising and tells part of my journey from a frightened 15 year old schoolboy to the musician I became.

On the 3rd floor of New Broadcasting House they’ll be deep into tomorrow’s running order by now, across from PM who will be hurtling to on air. I can picture it all - even if I didn’t think through the implications of having John Humphrys back in the studio :) Once a questioner, always a questioner! Thank you Anne and many others who wrote today, please know I appreciate it very much. With time to catch my breath and work on new plans, I will be back 📺 📻
Replying to @BBCr4today @MishalHusain
I will miss you Mishal.
Thank you for your precise and clear interviews.

This is absolutely heartbreaking news. I — like so, so many producers — would not have my start in audio without Short Cuts. It's a rare gem and the perfect home for documentaries, essays, experimentation and audio art. Shows like Short Cuts should be celebrated and protected.

Extremely sad news...Short Cuts was such a wonderful place for new producers to get their start, & for more established ones to try new things. If you've never listened, treat yourself to a browse through the archive. Thank you @FallingTreeProd & @JosieLong for 40 great series 🩷

In a captivating @BBCRadio3 Sunday Feature, Honorary Fellow @thekatiederham explores the history of 'Land of Hope and Glory' with Professor Eamon Duffy. Written by AC Benson, Master of Magdalene (1915–1925), the song remains iconic yet controversial. bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0022j…
